Not being a wheelchair user myself, you need to take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt. My point of reference is bikes, and based upon that experience I would say a wider tire is much better. Thanks again for this information thecryptofishist I really do appreciate it! Creating a neighbourhood hangout sounds like a good idea, me and all of my friends are easy to get along with and are not shy so I cant see this being an issue.
