Re: Theme Camp Requirement- Fire Lanes
asr9754 has captured my confusion as well: #1) "Camps must have an entrance into camp at least 12’ wide for access fire lanes. Avoid one-way-in and one-way-out (dead-end) fire lanes." It doesn't say anything about this requirement applying only to camps greater than size XX. So we're to assume this ...

Re: "Directed Group Sale" and theme camp applicants
Great discussion and information here ... thank you to everyone who is posting.
Here's another question - does anyone know where we could find an archived list of last year's camp names and themes (or of camps from years before)?

Re: New theme camp layout plan
OK ... so here's what I think I've learned so far ... -- For purposes of theme camp placement, each BRC block is divided into 50’-by-50’ “squares”. -- Theme camps are allotted a certain number of “squares” based primarily on the number of people expected as well as any special needs the camp might h...

Re: New theme camp layout plan
@Ratty - did a lot of looking around and studying maps! Didn't find an "official" answer anywhere that I had bumped into yet! @Jovankat - thank you, a wealth of information ... the most important of which (to me anyway) is that the application itself will contain this type of information. Based on t...

New theme camp layout plan
We're taking a big leap and are planning to submit our first theme camp application in about a month (gulp!). In the application, we have to submit a lay-out plan of what the camp is going to look like (as seen from above). Here's are a couple of basic dumb questions that I just am not easily findin...

Re: "Directed Group Sale" and theme camp applicants
Okey-doke! Prove ourselves in our first year, and *maybe* qualify for the "Directed Group Sales" for the following year (or whatever is the equivalent!).
Thanks to all very, very helpful ...

"Directed Group Sale" and theme camp applicants
Question about the "Directed Group Sale" ... (1) Directed Group Sale is 10,000 tickets available in *February* to "directed groups" like theme camps ... to make sure that essential people get tickets - it's a limited number of tickets to these folks (2) However, as a first-time applicant to be a the...

Re: Someone "should be at your camp at all times"?
Thank you ... let me see if I can summarize all these good thoughts ... -- "should" doesn't mean "must" and ... -- During the time that your camp is providing services, then naturally, there are expected to be people in the camp ... -- During the time that your camp is not providing services, then i...

Thank you ... very helpful!
So even as a first-time theme camp applicant, we would have access to EA (if approved). Good to know, and thanks again!

Someone "should be at your camp at all times"?
The guidelines for applying to be a theme camp include the following: "Some camp members should be at your camp at all times in order for your activities to be as accessible to others as possible." So the question is ... what does that mean exactly? -- Does it mean that there *must* be someone in ca...

Re: Early arival passes
Here's a chicken-and-egg question ... We're a group of folks who have been coming for several years, and will likely be making a formal theme camp application - which I understand is in the February-April timeframe. If we're approved (fingers crossed), we would definitely like some Early Arrival pas...

We are definitely interested in finding out more about joining you - we are second-time burners, and are good at helping out. We had sent an email to the peritwinkle65 email address, but haven't heard back yet. Hoping to hear from you! Just received our invitation for group sale. If you want to be p...
