Ride Offered from Sacramento to Reno on August 26th
Hi Loves! UHaul fucked me over and moved my truck rental to Rancho Cordova, so I'm flying into Sacramento and picking it up. I have TONS of room for gear (empty UHaul) and room for ONE burner. I cannot take you into BRC - the truck will be full by then. I CAN get you to Reno. Hit me up if you need t...

Sunset. Sunset. Sunset. Get your ass back to camp for something warm, or bring it with you. I go from a skirt and a tank top to sliding leggings under the skirt and throwing my winter coat on, pretty damn fast. <3

This man is amazing and a bestie and he's got his shade and food and water covered :) It's been a crazy fun logistical nightmare figuring that out! Thanks to the Videogasm truck, we can ship big items from Michigan. Most of my supplies are in a storage unit in Reno. I typically fly to Reno from Mich...

Re: Bass heavy theme camps: Where do I find Jungle, DnB, Glitch, Dubstep
It can be difficult to find, but here's a tip: wake up in the morning with your tent vibrating from Bass, stand up and scratch your vibrating balls. Turn left and walk five feet vibrating to someone's blaring sound system, sorry "art". Or right. Turning right will also do. Ahahahaha, you gave me a ...

Re: 2016 One Item A Day For BM List....
After two burns in a 2 person Coleman Sundome tent with a little aluminum shade structure over top, I finally FINALLY ordered a Kodiak tent yesterday. I am beyond geeked to stand up in my tent. STANDING is such a luxury I had not realized. I was at the burn for 10 days last year and vowed to have a ...

Thanks for posting this Ratty! I completely agree - we, as a community, and BMORG, do need to address diversity in our population and how we welcome that. I understand we are comfortable expressing ourselves...that's not what I'm talking about

Re: Playa Bike Locks (Is there a better solution?)
First year, I had a u-lock with a key. I was deathly afraid of LOSING that key. Second year, I bought a word lock, and made it an easy to remember word. I liked the ease of a 4 letter combination. I hated the coiled lock and snap back and having to do it ever $%^ing time. I think folks are right, if...

My Merrell boots with Vibram rubber soles are what I've used for two years, plus hiking at home, and I absolutely adore them. breathable, comfy, totally worth the $100 investment for that much usage. Re: Anyone attend WITHOUT the support of their spouse?
My partner doesn't want to go with me. She highly considered it because she missed me so much for the week I was gone...and I've heard other spouses say that's why they end up going...but she won't commit yet this year and I will not push her. She can come if she wants to. I have all the gear set up...

I agree with Badger. Based on my experience with their support, they are pretty on top of things. I would expect a reply in a day or two from when you sent your request. I do not believe there is any wristband or anything like that. Just be sure to be early and on time for the return trip!

Now, to get over this COLD/FLU/THING before I leave on Monday

Re: Easy Tent Shade Structure
You can do an EZ-Up at half mast, but you have to secure it down like crazy and yes to the rebar and yes to the ratchet straps. Lean-to style one tarp, one side of tent shade is something people have posted. Maybe you can also tent near something like a big RV, and use it to help shade? Failing that...
