Shout out to the gorgeous couple from Camp NoWhere
It was a hot dusty afternoon. I was finding my way back to camp on foot, but wandered off too far to the trash fence. Stopping at a shady spot to cool down, I noticed there wasn't much people around, but thank goodness there were 2 people chatting just a few feet away from me. I asked for directions...

Re: Hello from Australia!
Ivy and others interested in joining theme camps...ya gotta do the work. Theme camps don't always send out general invitations for just anyone to join...some do, but most don't. One must sift thru the hundreds of camps listed under the Theme Camps banner and distill it down to a few that seem to be...

Re: Hello from Australia!
Welcome to ePlaya, Ivy! I hope you know that pink hair requires that you post a picture of said hair. You give the impression you have not yet realized how large Burning Man is. But stick around here, and we will get you dialed in. Be sure to read the First-Timer Information, and specially t...

Re: Hello from Australia!
Just thought id pop my head into another australian thread to say hello. Have never done burning seed, but am a bit of a Rainbow Serpent regular. Would you liken them? I WENT TO RAINBOW THIS YEAR!! I found it was a little too commerical. & 'hipster hippies'. But I had fun either way! I met some won...

Hi from Australia: timezone question
Hello hello,
Does any Aussies know the Aussie time for 12noon PDT?
(I'm assuming it's American time!)
Trying to get my hands on a ticket when the clock strikes!
Thanks ^____________^

Re: Getting to BRC
Hi, thanks so much for helping me out!
Now I have a clearer plan in mind.
What is the ride share board? Is it like an area where people offer ride sharing at Reno?
Is it possible that I just rock up at the airport with no pre-bought bus ticket, and just wing it to see if people are offering rides?

Getting to BRC
Hi,
I can't find resources anywhere, so I'm wondering what's the best way to travel to BRC when you're going alone, coming from another country, and can't drive?!
Thanks!!!

Re: First timer from Sydney - eep!
Hey guys, this thread has made me even more confident in going alone! The only thing I know on how to get there is catching a plane to the States... So hitchhiking to BRC is a must, but joining a theme camp is probably a lot safer! If not.... Any tips on getting to the place solo? I've PM'ed you for...

Hello from Australia!
Hi there! My name is Ivy and I'm an ABC! (Australian Born Chinese). I have pink hair too! I've had my first taste of Burning Man through an Australian version of you guys called 'Burning Seed'. I had no idea what to expect the first night, wandered off with a friend into a seedy looking nightclub te...
