Re: Kombucha and Cold Brewed Coffee
If the coffee is any good, it does not need contamination with "organic" creamer (wtf that is?) or sugar I just like my creamer, especially in cold coffee, but I do agree, good coffee shouldn't need any, I just prefer it that way. My creamer is made from goat milk/cream and organic cane or brown su...

Kombucha and Cold Brewed Coffee
So I plan on making gallons of home brewed Kombucha and cold brewed organic coffee (along with organic creamer and sugar!) I plan on bringing enough to share with friends out on the Playa. Do I need to take any special precautions or need any permits to give any away in kind gesture? I guess this go...

And absolutely, go easy on the alcohol during the day. It will dry you out. Drink at least a pint of water for every mixed drink, and two for every beer (worked for me.) That's easy for me to do. I really don't drink anyway. :) Thank you guys for all of the help. I can't wait to start getting ready...

Re: Alaskan here, Unsure of how to cope with weather!
Oh, and if you can repair bicycles, you will be right at home in the nude at my "shop". I don't know the first thing about bicycles honestly, but I'll at least have to stop by and say hi! I'll be looking into getting a bike for the week though, I'm thinking something sturdy I find pretty cheap on c...

Oh I plan on going in my skinnies as often as I can get away with. I love rockin the nude.
So maybe nude with a scarf or something draped over shoulders/head that has been soaked? And keep damp often.

Hey fellows! This is going to be my first Burn this year, and I am preparing in every way I can think of, the one thing I am not sure how to do is get ready to cope with the heat. I can't say that I have ever heard of it, but I looked it up and it sounds like fun!
Yeah, I'm hoping to become a close part of the community. My roots branch from what was a small rave production company, to festivals to volunteering at various events and now hopefully this!

I'm not too far from there. the closest town to me is Shelton. You look north, out the back window of our home and you see the Olympics beginning to roll out. On a clear day, there isn't much more beautiful :) Also no, haha it's just a bedsheet. I know a whole family of people who attend the Burn, b...
