Thank you! You just saved me a lot of trouble just to see all my bubbles pop before taking flight.

Large soap bubbles
I've been thinking about making some giant soap bubbles on the playa (3'+). Has anyone seen it done or tried to do it? I'm wondering if the dry air or dust just makes that impossible. Thanks!

Re: cooling your tent or van
DON'T DO THAT!!!!!!!!!! Figjam, I hope I didn't sound like I'm critiquing your design here - I'm actually hoping you guys could help me understand why my version wouldn't work well. Oh, I see. So if this is used for cooling my tent, where aiming doesn't matter, you don't think it would be less effective if I put the cooler inside the tent to blow air out of the holes in the bucket and guide the intake vent outside?

Figjam, thank you so much for helping so many of us!
You mentioned it would be less effective to aim the fan into the bucket than to suck air out of the bucket and I'm assuming that is because negative pressure helps with evaporation. But how much of a difference do you think it makes?
Thanks!
Oleg

Feedback on my plan
Thanks so much for posting all this helpful information! Would it be less effective to direct the airflow INTO the bucket, so all the holes become exhausts? I'm hoping to simply place the cooler in the corner of my canvas tent by my mattress and try to surround the mattress with my stuff in a way th...
