Re: How long to sell out? A little ticket day fun.
Looks like there were a few exploits that people and camps used to skip the line. Opening a new tab and pasting the link you got in the email had a chance of taking you directly to the ticket purchase screen. OR with some coding trickery you could get into the queue before noon. So if you're a good ...

Re: How long to sell out? A little ticket day fun.
Looks like it was about 1:06? Sold out that is. It's over now. I clicked the green button within the first second it appeared, waited for an hour, and was taken to the ticket buying page where it said "no tickets available". So even if it took people an hour to buy their tickets, really it was sold...

What was the name of the car from Vegas with the 4 giant Tumbler batmobile tires on the back? Had a Chevy 350 engine in it (I think) and was made from what looked like all tube aluminum and steel.

Someone blew a conch shell for about 5 seconds, and then some lady screamed "shut up! Show some fucking respect!" Guess which one was more disruptive, antagonistic, and unnatural. Some people need to express themselves in different ways for them to feel a cathartic experience. There's also people wi...

I will most likely be stopping here on Saturday evening, thank you so much! This is my first burn, I can't wait. I'm going to hit the road early Saturday morning, finish my grocery shopping in Portland and Klamanth Falls, then sleep the night in the RV park. Then finish off the drive early Sunday mo...

Seems like this is the right thread to ask. First burn here - I'm thinking a two cooler system, one for cold food and one freezer with dry ice. Instead of buying bags of ice every day, I'm thinking of using some Ice Packs, and rotating them back and forth from the cooler to the freezer once a day to...

All the fountain pumps I can find* are all 110v ac. I can't find a 12v dc anywhere that can run off a battery. It looks like the only 12v dc's that exist all come with their own solar panels. So what are people doing here, running the pump off the included solar panel and using a battery for the fan...

Hi, Dax here. Always wanted to go to Burning Man, never made the opportunity happen for myself though. Except this year, I'm trying to make it happen. The timing is right in my life. I've been meeting burners, dating this amazing girl, going to local events and fundraisers, going to the local region...
