I have read the resource pages for Fernley and Fallon and the information provided is great but was just reaching out to get more options. We will have a trailer that the drums will ride on.
I will look into Sage Valley RV Park in Fallon.
♥ Thanks ♥

Re: Potable Water for 55 gallon drums
The water is not necessarily for drinking but primarily to pump into our RV when and if we are able to get pumped out.

Heading up from Arizona and was wondering if a recommendation could be made on acquiring potable water for 2- 55 gallon drums along the way. Fallon being the last place we would want to acquire it. I researched a rest stop along the way in Wadsworth and the Church Hill County Fairgrounds in Fallon. ...

Re: Should you shade your RV?
Canoe- Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. We did the above method with the cardboard last year thinking that having a nice snug fit would be good. We did find that the inside of the RV was rather hot inside all day. I had a suspicion that we did it wrong and were not getting the full be...

Re: Should you shade your RV?
Last year we used Double Foil Bubble Insulation Reflective Wrap on all of our windows inside our RV. We spray glued the reflective wrap to cardboard and cut the cardboard to exact window size. I am curious if the method of gluing the reflective wrap to cardboard holds the heat in the cardboard there...

We plan on arriving possibly Sunday but most likely Monday.
Being that its a new venture for us. We think it is in our best interest to arrive during daylight hours.
Drive all day Sunday..get some shut eye and wake early Monday refreshed and ready to go.

Re: Aluminet
Thanks for the input. We plan on bringing extra supplies for the just in case scenario.
Better to have than not have.
If we end up not needing them, we will share with someone who might need them.

Aluminet
We are building a shade structure and have aluminet that we will be putting on the top and the sides. We will be securing the alimunet with ball bungees around the structure. My question is..do we need to secure the aluminet to the ground. If it is secured on 3 sides is it necessary to secure to the...
