Re: Predictions for Burning Man 2015...
I predict proxy drones that allow people to attend burningman from their smartphones- the drones will look like Will Smith on a Segway, complete with cameras, microphones, motor ability and communication ability. The drones will not require tickets, and in 2016 some people will even prefer this to a...

Re: What Are You Gifting in 2015.... ?

Re: Playawear Work In Progress 2015
Here's a t-shirt I made for Gratitude this year- I got some advice on the 2014 thread and hot glue worked great on getting the EL wire to stick to the PLA substrate- I hope to get started using some EL wire sequencers to create some animations next. does anyone have experience using EL wire sequence...

Re: Playawear Work In Progress 2014
Looks like the hot glue will work- I also 3d printed clips that will be glued on as backup too.
Awesome tip on the tail wire - I'll try that next year
Here is a pic of the t-shirt:

Re: Playawear Work In Progress 2014
Very cool to see everyone's projects here. For people working with EL wire- will hot glue hold it to plastic? I am 3d printing some parts out of PLA and the EL wire snaps into place pretty well- I was wondering if I could secure the ends of the wire with hot glue to keep it from popping off. Anyone ...
