Reading is hard bro

It's sorted by address, not camp name. I figured most people will want to see what camps are around them rather than look up where a particular camp is.

If you want to sort it by name, Data->Filter Views->Create new Filter view and then sort it.

Mine is mostly a practical work horse for hauling ice and marking routes and waypoints with GPS but with parrot horn, cup holder lights and compass. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/280x200q90/903/cRiJEQ.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/280x200q90/538/PKqBRp.jpg After work I plan on installing m...

Thank you

Hey what's the deal with playa names? Do I get to pick my own?

Also wringing hands in hope that my ebay and Amazon purchases arrive before I leave!

I am so stoked! And I don't know anyone who is going so I have to squee alone. I am super distracted at work and am hemorrhaging money in preparation.

I will be taking baby wipes and dry shampoo but at some point I will need to wash my hair and scrub the blood, sweat, and tears. If I buy a big industrial tub, stand in it and hose down and then dip a towel into the gray water to capilary-action it for evaporation -- will that suffice? http://conten...

It's a galaxy hut - http://galaxybeing.com/galaxyhut/ Also I did make the "super couplers" - they fit like a glove - wish I had thought of that!! : http://1drv.ms/1pD396k why did it cost so much? I had absolutely none of the parts on hand - including the mallet to pound in the 2 foot rebar. The addi...

great idea - I will do this!

Let it never be claimed I am a lazy shade mooch - after about three hundred dollars in parts and radical reliance on home depot I have my own shade structure!

Set it up to figure out all of the deltas (of which there were many). v.2 on the playa should be better!

For my galaxy hut I cut my 10foot pvc pipes them in half and then bought couplers - setting up this weekend to see if it's a problem (I doubt it will be especially with duct tape employed)

Thank you for the link geospyder you motivated me to purchase a cheap, used garmin off of ebay to take to the playa this year. I have a windows phone and frankly learning to orient with this Garmin Playa map sounds more fun

Perhaps it will be a good precursor to undertaking a new geocaching hobby!

Solo virgin this year -- I eat primal/gluten free (for the most part) and plan on bringing: -Canned sardines in olive oil (compact, non refridgerated, delicious) -Canned, smoked oysters -habanero bread and butter Pickles (and plenty to share) -vacuum-packed venison jerky -nitrate-free salami (nothin...

Blah I knew you guys would catch me on the "rocks"! I should have written "debris"... In any case it doesn't sound like a big deal - also I'm not crazy for trying the double sock strat -- thank you Maybe the gravel guards could serve a purpose as shoe-lace bicycle guards... I haven't ridden my bike ...

I just purchased a wrist wallet from here for $5 after shipping: http://goo.gl/mtn7sm
Maybe a double function as a sweat wipe?

So at my local burner pot luck last night a guy who volunteers as a ranger says that the playa will get all up in your shoes and boots and you end up picking rocks and dirt out. So I was wondering it would be a good idea to get some gravel/dirt guards for my hiking boots -- the same kind used for ri...

In an effort to avoid adding MOOP to the playa I had intended to get one of these no-feather headdresses made to bring to the playa : http://www.paradise-gypsies.com/products/awesome-new-non-feather-feather-headdress I'm sure many here will feel "oh those are so terribly 2007" but I think they look ...

For what it's worth (as a noob) when I recently asked one of the guys in my community who has been to burning man before "what was your favorite part" said that his favorite experience was getting up every morning with a buddy and going to a remote sweat lodge on the edge of nowhere setup by a guy w...

I love it! Only suggestions would be to include the lengths and diameters of the PVCPIPEN needed as well as pvc joints for the purpose of making the parts list directly useful as a shopping guide!
You have motivated me!

Appreciated feedback thank you skippy3k. You Skippy3k are a fixer - maybe a builder or engineer I think I know your perspective! (and it is appreciated) regarding your insights: How does radical self reliance work in combination with Radical Inclusion? Is it worth, in terms of materials and time, th...

Hello virgin driving to the burn for the first time this year - solo camper. I've been racking my brain to try and find a suitable shade structure and tent setup for me, a solo traveler. I don't have the desire to spend hours following internet plans detailing parts to be secured from home depot etc...
