Does this kind of cancelation still occur if you are renting from an obscure location like Concord, Dublin, Walnut Creek, etc?

I'm going to Burning Man for the first time this year and had a couple questions:

-Where should I get my uhaul cargo van cleaned upon returning to Oakland, CA? Any recommendations?
-Do many people rent from uhaul for the event?
