Here we go. Build a fiberglass container with an air chamber then figure out how to vacuum out all the atmosphere and seal it. Gives you a theoretical R Value of 30, compared to an R value of 7 from the home insulation.

Obviously I'm late on this thread. I was searching the internet to figure out the best methods for insulation. Not sure if insulation in addition to an air chamber is the best.
