Re: Lag screws vs everything else...
I have a vintage 1/2" B&D drill, 120V 7A 450RPM, top photo: http://www.instructables.com/id/Central ... -outdoors/
Will it drive 1/2 x 16" lags fully in, or should I get an impact driver?

Canopy fittings for multiple size tubings
Do any vendors sell canopy fittings designed for different sized tubings? For example, one diameter for the verticals, and another diameter for the horizontals? Reason: Using different diameter tubings would allow me to slide the smaller tubes inside the larger ones, during storage and transport. Th...

Re: Fantastic Way to Seal Mesh Tent Screens
Thanks Elderberry. That's amazing about velcro. I've heard it from other folks too.
I am now experimenting with magnets in the hem of the flap.

An old cartoon about 'not' going to Burning Man.
Enjoy it while you're waiting for tickets.

Re: Lag screws vs everything else...
- How much better is hot dipped galvanized than zinc in the playa?
- And how much harder is it to drive 1/2 lags into subplaya than 3/8"?
I have not found any 3/8 x 14 HD galvanized for sale. But 1/2 x 14 HD are available. Wondering if it's worth it.
PS: Thanks for this great idea.

Springbar tents in standing water
How did Springbars do in the 2014 rain and standing waters?
I'm curious if water seeped into the floor since their canvas sides extend all the way to the ground (ie, no 'bathtub' bottoms).
Thanks
