Add hours for the complete clusterfuck that will be Will Call this year due to the ticket problems. It will impact every lane.

In Reno - a couple of years ago it was Twin Cities. https://www.yelp.com/biz/twin-city-surplus-reno I haven't been in a couple of years, but what I heard is they let their Burner inventory go to shit. In the SF area is South Bay Canopy. https://www.yelp.com/biz/south-bay-canopy-san-jose . They are l...

Want facts? Go to Reddit and search the same topic. A couple people have mined Gate times off of twitter feeds to present in graph form. Personally, in 2017 I hit gate road just after dawn and got to camp B/9 at 1PM. Last year left asphalt at 11:30 and landed at same coordinates at 4. Whatever you e...

Those are pretty canopies, nestled between the noble trees in the quiet forest. Poles look weak Shade cloth looks thin - I get better sun protection using SPF 8 Paracord and lag bolts are a tight setup but i'd be worried about the fabric around the grommets. Maybe add a couple more tie off points be...

By Wednesday its going to be 99% full. Open camping @ 415. Probably have to make friends when you drive in. Play it cool, pull over on L, crack a couple of beverages and start talking to people. Bond and ask if you can park your vehicle somewhere that won't bother them. Bring a wagon and haul your g...

Re: Carports for RVs?
I have a 20x30 aluminet that I roll out over the RV and shade structure. I'm at a daytime service camp that opens at 9am, so it doesn't help me to sleep in late. I gotta be up early anyways. And I usually catch some ZZZ's around 4pm and that's a decision to sleep hot or not - there is no middle grou...

yah, brought in a 4 wheel Rhoades Bike for a few years, they didn't give a damn.
which reminds me, finding specialty parts out there is near impossible. it can be done but you gotta be committed and willing to change your burn. so bring extra.

The BORG has had a dozen years to figure this out. Fact is, they don't care. Every year they promise a better experience. Every year its a clusterfuck. Every year there are complaints by those who missed out. Every year the BORG makes false apologies and does absolutely nothing to fix it. The BORG i...

To hit gate by 10 - 11 am on Sunday, you'll want to get into line before dawn. There will be plenty of space open between I and L.

Shelter?
Food and liquids to sustain life for X days?
Whatever you need to make yourself content?
You're almost there. Just a couple critical items to think thru.

Several burns ago, a neighbor showed up at camp across L from us, really late in the weekend. She had attempted Jungo with a camping trailer. Yeah, same here, California and 14 days. No problem reserving online.
Hint - call the actual location after you get online confirmation. Give them a week or so but talk to a person at a desk in an building at that U Haul yard. They'll tell you whats the real deal.
