It's an Iphone but has an aftermarket black battery case so it charges with a Micro USB. Hoping whoever finds it eventually takes it off airplane mode so "Find My Iphone" will work.
Of course I'm always the one that tells people to label the things they don't want to lose. I did not do so.

Record of Specific Moop Issues?
Does anyone know if the team that does the sweeps and puts together the MOOP map keep track or records of specific moop issues at camps (beyond color coding)? My camp lead has asked me to reach out to see if I can find what the specific issues were in 2018. Not to dispute, but to help prevent the is...

I know it's not August 5th yet, but I assume with those qualifications you are already over-inundated with requests.
Maybe next year.

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art
I look forward to visiting your Home for Wayward Art again this year. I have yet to run into you there, but the first piece I adopted from you still has a place of honor in my home. Considering bringing it back for someone else to enjoy while I adopt a nice piece. Or I can just be selfish and keep b...

Re: Looking For a Few Wine Lovers!
My wife and I both work at wineries in Nor Cal Wine Country. We'll definitely bring some bottles to gift(and likely some to store for personal use). Haven't brought wine before because of the heat.
It is a great service you provide. Thank you!

Welcome!
Note that even if you arrived the moments the gate opened, there STILL won't be time to see and do everything.
Don't worry, you'll be able to find space. There's even a dedicated camping area for people who arrive by the Burner Express.

Re: So I'm gonna need a bike...
Another option is you can rent a bike and pick up on Playa. Check out Playa Bicycle Repair or Hammery & Cyclery. The cost goes to the transportation, storage, and maintenance of the bikes. I can't vouch for either of those options as I've brought my own bike in previous years, but I will be using Pl...

Currently on Oathbringer, the third (most current) book of the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson.
If you like Fantasy definitely check it out. Brandon Sanderson is the one that finished the Wheel of Time Series after Robert Jordan passed.

Re: Tips for Shy People at Burning Man
Are there any people willing to step up this year and have a gathering of shy people or first timers who may feel overwhelmed or intimidated by all this stimulation? Drinks, nibbles and fun. I envision a camp with a public area large enough to handle 30-60 people hosting this daytime event. For thi...

Re: Burgins looking to share RV
You want to make it the "best experience" but you are looking to share an RV with people you don't know?
It's your first year; tent it. Really feel the experience. RVs can be isolating. Not to mention quite small when sharing.

Re: Tent - opinion
I'd like a tent where I can stand while dressing and doesn't overheat. Just note that ANY tent, if you don't have shade, is going to overheat. Even last year, where the weather was very mild, I couldn't go into my shade-less tent for more than a few seconds during the day. After that short amount o...

Re: Burning Man Tips for Shy People
My one "how to dance" tip is - move your booty. Literally. Listen to the bass line and the drum line of the music. Don't get bothered yet about any lead instrument or melody or singer. Just feel that rhythm. Then move your booty. This is hard for guys, we tend to sway or stomp. But like BBadger say...

Re: Carrying ID: copy or original?
Most bars on playa will accept a copy of an ID, especially if you clearly look over 21.
But that is MOST, not all. Some places may require an original, so if you don't have it on you you might be refused service at some places. Not a big deal, just move on to a different place.

Thanks that helps. Not the same pump but similar stats. As for double or single pads, I'm trying to mimic FIGJAM's setup as closely as possible as I don't have the motivation or knowledge to go through the trial and error he has already done. Stick with what works! I believe he said doubling up the ...

Re: cooling your tent or van
Assuming I found the same links you are looking at, note the 3073 pd takes two months to ship , probably from China. Also note there is another size to select on the 3074 which is a bit cheaper. Also HomeDepot, Lowes and some Walmarts carry these too. I didn't notice the long delay in shipping, but...

Just starting to get my supplies to build a bucket cooler this year. Trying to read through the whole thread but am only on page 30 or so so far. Have a (Hopefully) quick question or two. Concerning the Dura Cool pads, should we go with model 3074 or 3073? I see both on Amazon; the 3073 pads are a b...
