listen to the posts here. The road is a narrow as hell two lane highway. A bike on that road is either going to cause an accident, or constant traffic jams from not being able to pass you.

Not only that but I doubt its even legal to bike on it.

well your not going to be able to just bring it and register it, thats for sure. they're a pain in the ass to deal with even when you do pre-register (at least the last two times i've done it). Best bet would be to go with the suggestion above in getting a temporary handicap permit, then they can't ...

Was looking more along the lines of getting the boxes with two 2.5 gallon containers. Anyone have any input on those rather than new suggestions?

Gettin water in Reno an issue?

I've always carried it over the mountains, this year however were trying to be more efficient and pickup water in Reno. A friend was concerned that everyone else does the same and we might have a problem finding it in stock.. Anyone ever have problems picking up like 5 gallon boxes of water in vario...

Just remember, the Playa always provides! 2004 I did something completely retarded, like not bringing ANY water at all. Just completely spaced it off. How can one do that? I was never one to drink much water at burningman, I do pretty well with dehydration but it turned out to be just fine. I had ab...

How well would a home receiver unit work? Its disposable for sure, but i'm concerned about dust breaking the unit, and I want to plan to have a backup. Just going to do a minimal in-camp 4 speaker + sub system , no DJ equipment. Has anyone had stereo equipment that stopped working because of too muc...

i'd highly recommend leaving the art car at home if its not registered. I had one of the most stressful experiences in 2005 dealing with DMV, with stuff that WAS submitted before the deadline, just in limbo on approval. It ended up taking 4 days before it was finally approved, but it was 4 days of s...
