Re: Need OBJ, SVG files of art/camps for VR/AR app

Cool, thanks.

Will check it out.

I had hopes of throwing together a quick AR app for the burn, but had to work :) so post burn is perfect.

I don't want to do anything to your burn.

I MIGHT want you to be able to see where you're going - or experience other people's burn after it's burned.

You never look at a photo of the burn? Think of it that way - only more real.

Need OBJ, SVG files of art/camps for VR/AR app

Hi folks I'm working on a VR/AR app, and I'd like to import any art exhibits, "the man", or anything else as real physical objects. This would be both Mobile as well as "room scale VR" although I don't plan on bringing a PC VR headset to the burn, I will have a "Cardboard" VR if I get the app ready ...

aTdHvAaNnKcSe (THANKS in advance) to the DMV Hotties!

Ok, I know *I* contributed to the deluge of last minute applications, but regardless, wanted to say THANK YOU as I know your hard drives are burning up from the ton of cool content, and that you'll be like postal workers at Christmas over the next few weeks.

Thank you.

Re: Spiral anchors

Thanks Netty58!

I bought some Rebar from the big store yesterday, but they only had 3 foot. I'm going to be pounding for days ... heh. (I have a cutoff wheel and a sawzall, will cut to the right length).

I think I'll bring some of those, as well as the lag bolts - those look great!

Re: Spiral anchors

Thanks! I actually did a forum search for these specific items and got 0 hits, but will read on the thread. Lots of good info.

Spiral anchors

It sounds like "Candy Cane" rebar is pretty easy to make, and I've seen the video with the blowing dome tent ... exactly like I was going to buy :) so I KNOW I have to stake things down well. After having said that, how do these spiral anchors from Home Depot look? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Vortex-...
