Re: Prebuilt Swampie Reviews??

True, from a power stand point it is a monster compared to a Figjam. I will be bringing a honda 2200i so I would have the power to run the thing. And an absolutely excellent point about the water. That is a bit much... While we are on the topic through does anyone know the water consumption of say a...

Prebuilt Swampie Reviews??

A buddy and I found this swampie, https://www.toolots.com/ahm-45.html Now I'm trying to figure out if it is worth buying as I have a h15 yurt and my beefed up 5gal figjam just isn't really cutting it. I've thought about the 20gal or the 55gal, but this thing is cheaper then the materials. SO I figur...

Re: Fridge or Chest Freezer

[/quote] With them 1/2 full of beverages I think we gained 10 or 12 degrees overnight from our low thermostat threshold during the power off period. The thermostats have alarms on them and once power supply resumed the thermostats would alarm from 5 to 10 min until internal temperature was in the no...

Re: Fridge or Chest Freezer

I’ve taken both and used with a Honda EU2000 generator. My preference is a chest freezer. It is significantly more efficient than a standard door fridge and uses less power. It also doesn’t “spill” all the cold air out when opened. Since you want to keep things frozen, a chest freezer is probably a...

Re: Fridge or Chest Freezer

"WE power off from about midnight to 10 am and drinks stayed cold. We have the freezer hacked in to refrigerator with a cooling thermostat." This is curious to me. I was kind of running under the impression that we would need to run the thing 24/7. Do you have numbers on what your temperature loss w...

Fridge or Chest Freezer

Hello wonderful humans, I am toying with the idea of brining a fridge/freezer to the burn this year for my theme camp. First let me outline my thoughts on why we need one and its usage. 1. In the past members of my camp have spent over $200 on ice to keep things cold in coolers. I think this is craz...

Re: Pipe pipe pipe...

I did say 'Glass' windows. Attached to the glass are prints of photos that are wheat pasted to the whole thing so the glue as well as the paper should hold the whole thing together should anything break. As for rotating in the wind, the single pole where they rotate (if I build it to spin) Will have...

Pipe pipe pipe...

Hello all, I am planning on constructing an art piece this year that involves 5 poles and a hand full of old glass and wood windows. So I figure I would run you all through what I was thinking and see if anyone has suggestions. I am planning on using 4' and 8' pieces of 1 1/2" EMT Conduit pipe with ...

Re: Picking a Generator

So if I pick up a parallel connector kit for the 2 2000i's I can get a combined 30amps through a twist lock which I would attach a spider box, giving me a x4 5-20r circuits with a total load capacity of 3200w? When Paralleled can I still used the gfi 15amp 5-15r outlet on either generator? Or would ...
