Lost an iPhone 6, clear (ish) sparkle case, red finger strap on back. Cracked glass type screen protector. A copy of my drivers license, a variation of my eplaya name "hapto" camp address and stickers are under the case. Lock screen is a (probably) neon diamond with a barcode in the corner. Happy to...

Re: sanskrit translation on early access bracelet
Hokay: the loose translation from the wonderful serious hindus who are my upstairs neighbors (in Rajasthan, India): Every human (should be) independent, prosperous: confident: have their human rights: and have self respect: Every human should have logic (powerful thought) and good thoughts, and ever...

Re: Yes... and its a mess...
On the bright side, I know kind of hard to believe. People are checking on others more often. Seeing if anyone needs anything when they go into town. It's always been a close community, this is just making it a little bit more so.
Adversity brings out the best in people. I...

Yes... and its a mess...
Yes, its a mess, we don't know anything here, but we burners personally value the existence of the store and know that this little market means a lot to the community at large of Gerlach. So, Goathead (since you're the only one who seems to be immediately local) What does the community need? Money? ...

The one pictured above wasn't the one that scared me. the one that scared me, seemed to set-down near the man, and came barreling towards 3:30 and Esp. and then veered off towards 3-2:30ish - It was a swirling mass of dark dust. Someone said it was an F2-3 tornado (confirmations? reports?) People we...

if you're going to stand outside to portapotties all day, you can offer a "moop bag"/trash recepticle, that you will give, and then collect upon the completion of their portapotty adventure, then offer the wetwipes/sanitizer/lotion there, outside of the potties, so that if folks *really* wanted to g...

SCUL found a home.
We'll be camping this year as a part of Automatic Subconsious... It'll give us a good portion of locals to conspire with, and a small, homey feel, for our post-apocalyptic chopper building gang.

Hey thanks for the neato document! (and the props -- nothing like a bunch of artsy geeks on wierdo-bikes.. ;-) -- Also nice bike... I'll try and swing by on yonder Playa if you are going to be there this year) Right now we only have a couple of people who can make it, and many are newbies, hence the...

Variation on a theme? or a theme song? you tell me (link to a quicktime from this page. Exhibit 431 "looking cute and feeling cute" little more sterotypalicious than your average feminist argument, but its got a good beat and you can dance to it. :-)

Hey Jafe! I really wanna see a photo of this bike with the tank tracks! Nice to meet you too! I think it'll be a fun thing to do... lots of awesome bikes around, and lots of bike gangs attend, that it would be cool to have a place for them. Our gang has a star-wars-space-pirate-punk-theme, which is ...

Freakbike Camp seeks Village of Awesome
Hokay, So I'm trying to get a freakbike/chopper gang camp together in a sort of village. (or another suitable infrastructure in which to contribute to and to call home) All chopped all the time. I'm a member of SCUL ( http://www.scul.org ) a Boston based bicycle chopper gang and ideally, I'd love to...

For me, first time burner, I liked the spreadoutness. it meant that no matter where you were there was stuff to look at... BIG stuff... not just a couple tents and a personal dome. At night the esplanade was tough to navigate as it was.. and you mean to say it was MORE crowded? As far as welcoming s...

not fer nuttin' but I think a pice of spandex strung between a frame of whatver you are using... like PVC pipe. Rebar the corners, and to attach the fabric Just tie knots in the corners (no sew! and no holes!), and then using a larkshead knot and some string to attach it to the frame. Bedsheets migh...

I've ordered blinkies in large quantity from windycitynovelty.com Also, If you get some flourecent paint, and some blacklite LEDs you can use the glow factor to a very high advantage. (same with glow in the dark paint -- though I have no idea how thissl hold up) and this option will require a littl ...

I made a nifty floorcloth using one of those old and beaten up bedspreads (like you find @ urban outfitters) lay down some plastic, lay out the bedspread, coat with enough acrylic polyeuathane to soak it up good and proper (in layers, keeping it taut)... peel up, and trim the excess. The one I made ...

Ok... this is my plan... I bounce it off all y'all. I am doing the Stevelerner.com/geometry dome only 8' struts instead of 10, and I have these cut-offs that I hope to configure as such: http://www.mrpicassohead.com/search.html?skin=original&query=dome&id=f9fa2b9&tp=3&sp=1 (forgive the wacky link, I...
