1051 miles, I make it in just over 11 hours everytime. A most pleasent drive.

In 2006 when I got to B.R.C. and started unpacking I realized I didn't bring my pillow or sleeping bag! ... I used the extra clothes I brought as a bed and pillow... I didn't sleep much.

There is an official race at burningman mid week sometime... Check at center camp for info. Saw the end of it in 05' and 06'. I am not sure how long the run is. I think they run the entire fence line and then back to the man so it's got to be more than 6 miles.

In 2006 I saw a single tent that was covered in "reflective car sun shields"... They were stitched together and put over the tent like a tarp. I am not sure how effective it was but I am sure it worked very well, reflection of the sun keeps things much cooler.

Take your 2 million candle power spotlight(the one you bought at Val-Vart), mount it up high and aim it at thier screen....
