Good power drill will sink and retrieve lags in 10 seconds. No need to turn the hammer action on at all. I save that for rebar hammering. But it also needs a gennie to deliver 8+amps. I also have a socket wrench backup if gennie or drill dies. Had to use ot once and it was a breeze
