Re: New

And the journey to get to know this person begins! :)

Welcome to ePlaya!

Of course, discovery means little without subjecting the target,...er,...person to a query or three.

Sooooo,...why do you want to go to Burning Man?

When we are there, we do not care about Internet. I don't get why people cannot disassociate from it for one week. Sad.

*strolls in, starts ECM* HI BVB! Hi Marty! well, the heats setting in. Been doing a lot of concrete vertical (wall and plaster finishing) work, this is getting hard on me though. Seems I just can't one hand multiple 50 lb. buckets of mud over my head like I once could.....haha damn. I have a neat j...

Re: eplaya Meet & Greet 2019!

I figured it would be in the newsletter. We are just trying to finalize our camp volunteer stuff and times of things.

The Wife wanted to make sure she could tend to the other drinking event at BDV which ends at 6:00pm. :)

I know you got our backs Doc.

I am bringing some snacks (about 5 pounds of Cheese Waffies) and some drinks along.

Has the when (what time) and where (camp location) been established yet?

Re: Donald Trump is my hero

That is an interesting perspective.

Although I was not painting with that broad a brush when I made my comment. However, just to be fair (or make an effort to be), I think it is safe to say there are haters on both sides of the fence.

There are also reasonable people on both sides as well.

So to some extent, my attendance is predicated on my better half not scheduling a ranger shift that evening and thus being available to ensure that I don't have our 12-year-old in tow. Should be doable. Ugh, what a word salad. Must find coffee. Let me try again: I'll be there if my wife is around t...

Most marketing is designed to keep you from looking too deep and this is where he fails. Once you get pa...

Going back decades, it was known that Donald was a slick, big city operator and a con man. He was always a loud mouth braggart and everyone in NY and the east coast could see it clear as day. We heard about the thousands of contractors and employees that weren't paid and the endless law suits again...

Some of us have no place to store RV's or trucks or any towable something. Heck, the only thing I get out of an RV is a dark, quiet place to sleep (in a decent bed), a kitchen, and some privacy for taking the morning constitutional. :) Oh, and a comfortable ride for 1800 miles. We are going with El Monte this year, and so far the service/support has been impeccable. We are doing a one way rental this year, dropping it off in Reno, then flying home.

Prices were reasonable as well (relatively speaking, of course). I'll let you know how it all turns out.
