Re: STEP Experience thread 2016
Does anyone recall how far down the line STEP has made it in years past? I'm 12:05, curious if I should try and hold out instead of caving in and getting a presale.

Re: Two 1st Timers searching for a ride anywhere between Spokane, WA and Burning Man
Possibly all 3 of us could meet up if that works for @Marley405. My friend was not allowed the time off work so I will be going solo. If Spokane is on the way for @Idayogagirl she could drive here, and then we could meet up and drive to Oregon?

Re: Going in 2016. Help!
@eldergeekas Thank you for sharing that thorough spreadsheet. I was in search of a solid list of everything you could possibly need to bring for Burning Man and this exceeded anything I was expecting. It's very useful, and I plan on referencing it more as the burn approaches.

Re: Two 1st Timers from Spokane, WA interested in joining a camp
" It's not out of the question to start a burn near where I live, " ---- We have gotten that taken care of already. An event in Spokane and one in Tri-Cities (3C). There are a bunch of us in 3C, as well as a bunch in Spokompton. Look on FB for Tri-Cities Burners and )'( Spokane Burners )'( join tha...

Re: Two 1st Timers from Spokane, WA interested in joining a camp
My friend is the only one who lives in Sacramento. I thought my post seemed pretty accepting but I'm sure you know best if we wouldn't be a fit. Thanks for the good luck wish.Dr. Pyro wrote:We are always open to people from Sacramento, but I think BDC&WB is too Republican for these guys. Good luck I guess.

Re: Two 1st Timers from Spokane, WA interested in joining a camp
Spokane burners, welcome to ePlaya and Burning Man! You are far, but not so far, from the Seattle, Washington regional: http://regionals.burningman.org/regionals/north-america/seattle/. And maybe there is a East Washington/West Idaho regional campout, or you could start one! I've had an eye on thos...

Re: Two 1st Timers from Spokane, WA interested in joining a camp
Greetings from a WA "coastie". One comment: the type of people at BM is NOT the same as Barter Fair. Those are soap-making hippies. Burning man isn't a hippie fest at all. It's closer to techie meets Mad Max. That may not be quite it, but it's definitely closer to it than Barter Fair. Thx for the w...

Two 1st Timers searching for a ride anywhere between Spokane, WA and Burning Man
We are 24-25, and are not completely new to fairs/festivals. When we both lived in Spokane we attended many barter fairs together. If you are unfamiliar, they attract a similar type of people/community. Searching for anyone with a bigger sized automobile/RV that has some extra space. Depending on wh...

1st Timer from Spokane, WA interested in joining a camp
I have never participated in Burning Man, but I'm determined to make it this year. I live in Spokane,WA and will most likely be making the trip from here by myself, and meeting up with a friend in Sacramento, CA on the way. He has never been either. We are 24-25, and are not completely new to fairs/...
