Re: How much grey water to plan for?
Thanks for all the responses. I should clarify that we are only a 20-25 person camp that requires everyone to bring their own water. The concept of using the same container you brought the water in with to bring the grey water out in only works with disposable containers. Like personally I use 20 li...

How much grey water to plan for?
The past couple Burns I've built a solar powered evapotron for our camp. This worked reasonably well, but would always end up at capacity at the end of the week due to too many people dumping cooler water in it. Plus even if it works well we still have a really gross fountain in the back of our camp...

Re: Controlling LEDs over Wifi?
I ended up running out of time with the Arduino stuff and just bought three of these Chinese controllers that run off SD Cards. https://www.amazon.com/BTF-LIGHTING-K-1000C-Controller-Addressable-Programmable/dp/B06XJ1J915 51-uPuD62sL._SL1100_.jpg Then we just ran cables underground to each of the th...

Bungee ball alternative?
Has anyone found a better alternative to bungee balls to attach tarps to an EMT conduit shade? They inevitably turn into projectiles, pinch fingers, and take a lot of time to install and take down. I was thinking instead to lace the tarps to the EMT frame with cord or cable. Then use turnbuckles or ...

Controlling LEDs over Wifi?
I'm working on the LEDs for an art projects this year. My plan is to control a number of addressable LED strips wirelessly over a local wifi network. Each strip would be controlled from an ESP8266 based MCU (NodeMCU is what I'm using now). These would then connect to a single wifi access point. Cont...

Controlling RGB Leds
I'm going to be working on adding the lighting to our camp's art projects for BM 2018. I've used WS2811/WS2812 LED in previous years on my clothing and bike, but only with the cheap controllers you can get off amazon that have preset patterns. This year I want to create my own patterns that complime...

Transporting EMT Conduit
I'm building the common EMT conduit shade structure for our camp this year with 1" conduit. Has anyone come up with a good way to bundle/transport the sections of conduit. I'm going to have 40 lengths, plus a few spares just in case. I was thinking of using some kind of adjustable straps https://www...
