It was 72*f in Gerlach an hour ago, can't that hot there today... Dusty it always is after a couple days... You get a whole new appreciation for water trucks after a few days....

Adding a sight tube is easy... You can get a 1/2" rubber grommet and a 1/2" 90* barb fitting at your nearest hydroponic shop.. You'll need a 13/16" spade bit for the hole, and some 1/2" clear tubing... It'll only take a few min. to upgrade the bucket..

I live an hours drive from downtown Death Valley, so i've been kicking around making 12 volt swamp coolers for the last 20 years.....
