ALSO...transportation to-and-from playa is infinitely easier. we just bring out the bikes as...two regular ol' bikes on a regular ol' bike rack, and then do the assembly on the playa. no need for trailer, etc.

We needed to get our RV flatbedded from Auburn CA to San Jose CA after the event in 2024, and used EMM Enterprises (who we found via a site called Heavy Haulers / Nationwide Transport Services). It seems NTS does the dispatching, and then finds a local hauler that actually does the move. EMM was the...

the sidekick looks fun — how do you transport it? (a big part of the design we came up with is that the side-by-side can be (dis-)assembled into "just bikes" and fits on a regular bike rack.)
