Specifically, I’d like to drape fabric through the middle to create two “rooms.”

Second, I want to create a solar chimney to allow hot air to escape by running ducting from the top of the yurt to the window on the side. How can I attach the ducting to the roof without causing irreparable damage?

My yurt has a 24x12” window.

Can I use that space as both an intake for the ducting connected to my cooler AND a separate exhaust duct running from the roof to outside, solar chimney style? I’m trying to minimize cuts in the structure.

Exhaust venting of the yurt seems essential to the process. Can someone give me exact instructions on how to create this ideal ceiling vent?
