Don't clarify what I'm saying if you haven't got a clue what you're talking about. . Just because you're unaware of current industry standards or correct practice for inflating high pressure CV tires is no reason to shoot the messenger. The sudden depressurisation of a tyre can release a large amou...

........... If you have 80 psi truck tires, and the gas station compressor can fill them that much (or maybe a bit more, since you're gonna let it right back out) then it would sort of work. . Just to clarify what the Captain is saying here; A truck tyre must only ever be inflated in a properly con...

Tyre valve stem with a plastic bead jammed in it to reduce the diameter would seem the easiest option.

While it's important to hear such candid views from the DGS illuminati, isn't it a fact that its the quality of the spectacle that generates the volume of spectators. How exactly can you have one without the other? the burden of participation must always be shouldered by the individual, never enforc...

No, you're right. The threading together idea could only work if the two ends of the coupler were able to turn independently of one another, like a swivel. Otherwise as you screw one side on, the other side will unscrew... . Not exactly, the ends are threaded independently, one left one right then ...

Just showed the images to the toolmaker:

Have you considered threading them together?

Badger I dunno if crimping this will work you may have to weld, the dudes in the tool room say 1/4" rod bullet ends and eyelets are forged. I had a look at the bench mounted hydraulic swager out in the workshop and the stainless steel wire rope crimping dies only go up to 5.5 millimeters (7/32") and...

.......... Later, the review team could see burner profile details, ticketfly account details, and whether the name matched the account at the time of transaction. If the name on the credit card is not stored how is it possible to conduct such an audit? A retrospective review requires conformation ...

If The credit card (and yes they know from the numbers) should match the name on the TFly order as well as the Burner Profile, ............! That's an interesting comment, it appears to contradict  PCI Data Security Standards. If the only data stored is the last 4 numbers of a credit card number ho...

In this years pre-sale we weren't asked for a credit card name just the number, expiry and security code. A camp buddy used my credit card on their Ticketfly account to purchase tickets in their name no problem. I expect the new system is to make allowance for the use of prepaid over the counter cre...

Last year's waiting room was a disaster. We were led to believe that the ones in the waiting room would move to the front of the queue once the sale starts. From what I can glean from this article, there appears to be no advantage to waiting in the waiting room. Can someone please clarify how the w...

Never enough burner cat videos on the internet say.

Just to clarify my question of if $400 per day is reasonable was in relation to the doubling of prices by private owners who rent out there RV’s on sites such as RV Share, it was not intended as a price comparison for commercial RV rental companies. Thanks everybody for the local prospective. Bearin...

The tiniest violin in the world, which you may mistake for a period on the end of this sentence, is playing for those poor international burners who simply don't have the means to pay for an RV rental to attend some festival in the middle of nowhere, especially after buying pre-sale tickets. Woe is...

Aussie Burner coming over for 2017 and I can't get over the level of profiteering going on with RV rentals for the period encompassing burning man. Prices are running at $400 a day on sites such as RV Share, almost beyond the means of most people especially if your traveling in from overseas just fo...
