Re: Building my first Yurt & Swamp Cooler - Need Advice!
im going with 2 buckets instead of one big cooler because I need the room while I'm traveling. I can put a bucket inside a bucket and put the cooler together when I get there. But if cargo space is not an issue the bigger the cooler the better. More surface area is more cooling.

Re: cooling your tent or van

'IF' you have a framework like Chicken Wire to help hold it up, as it will sag when it gets wet, it will work . But the blue poly is better. There is some 'light green stuff that will work too. Thanks bud. ...

Re: Solar guidance needed
These calculations are ideal and assume no losses. Your losses will likely be 20% give or take so the following should be adjusted accordingly. Running your system will take 6.7 amps, therefore your 35AH battery will be depleted in 5.2 hours if not being recharged. I would rate the battery as under...

I'm going to my first burn this year and I got an old beach cruiser I'm trying to cover in led lights. Re: 2017 One Item A Day For BM List......
You'll be hard pressed to find the 3/8 x 14" variety anywhere else besides the sources posted already. They're more of a specialty item and it's actually pretty fortunate they can be had at that price. If you are willing to settle for 12" length bolts, you can find them more commonly (e.g. here ). ...
