Re: 2017 Playa Conditions

And I guarantee that if there's a rut out there I will find it with my bike at night.  Something like that always happens when you're riding a bike. It doesn't matter how small the chance, somehow some douchebag higher creature always manages to put the obstacle right in your path....

Re: Question about my bike

There are other variations of bikes, but they are less common. For example, there are cruisers with gears. These usually have gears (the derailleur type) only on the rear wheel, so they work like a "corrected" mountain bike. And some bikes have gears inside the rear wheel hub. This works wonderfull...

Re: VIRGINia!!!

My question might be quite straightforward, but you got me curious at: "how I can be myself and still fit in with society... and I've found out that it's really hard to actually make that work." What is it about you that makes it so hard to be yourself and make it work? :) Every single person has so...

Re: omelets

For a cool twist on regular scrambled eggs:
instead of adding bacon to it, try cumin seeds and a little sugar. :)

Re: ePlaya Meet & Greet 2017!

Since now everyone who expects to get a ticket likely has one, it's time to begin planning for the "can't miss event" for all ePlayans at Burning Man: The ePlaya Meet & Greet! It will be held again this year on Wednesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. at Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro and we do ask t...

Re: Virgin burners from the land of chocolate, beer, french fries and waffles

... ... ... I'll probably drop by your Bicycle service, as I happen to (try to) fix/upgrade bikes in my spare time. You're hired! By the way.... No French, but I'm fluent in Norwegian. Did Vikings ever invade Belgium? ;-) Haha, that must have been one of the swiftest applications I've ever experien...

Re: Virgin burners from the land of chocolate, beer, french fries and waffles

Maybe Belgians have a thing with radical rituals? We're currently trying to get our vacation fixed with our employers. When this is fixed, we'll go full throttle to see how we can contribute! We'll probably join some friends from SF and create our own small camp. It will give us the liberty to...

Re: Virgin burners from the land of chocolate, beer, french fries and waffles

Lucy and Stijn, welcome! Belgium is one of my favorite countries in Europe, and Brussels is fabulous. It's sort of like Paris without the people. And by "people" I mean the French. My favorite beer also comes from there: Nostradamus. Almost impossible to find in the states. Come by Barbie Death Cam...

Virgin burners from the land of chocolate, beer, french fries and waffles

Hey all, We're Lucy and Stijn (pronounced like a "stain on your shirt") from the land of chocolate, beer, french fries and waffles. For some of you this will ring a bell, for the others: we're from Belgium. About us: Both of us are 31 years old. We are born and raised in Belgium. Lucy works in a sch...
