Great idea.

Have you thought about body mounting the go pros in unusual spots? The back of the hand or under the wrist is good, so is are the knees, either pointed forward or down.

Stores like WalMart, Target, "Big Lots", Home Depot, Lowe's, sell big plastic bins that should work fine for your box, and they'd be easy to cut and modify. They have them in clear, which makes it easy to see into the box to check up on the gear. Since you're running at night, a simple muffin fan sh...

The TOA slave auction seems to have run out of steam the last couple of times, don't know why. In the past good scotch or good chocolate seemed to work well for goods. Fresh cooked gourmet meals seem to have worked too. But people aren't showing up either to be on the block or to bid like they used ...

We also got a 30 year old free rv last year. It was actually in very good shape overall. BUT. Tires. Replace them, unless you have proof that they're less than 6 years old. We replaced the two worst ones, and put the two new ones on the front. Bad idea. In our first sixty mile trip, one of the four ...

Ah yes, back from when it wasn't too big (physically).

Although even then, it was obviously laid out by folks who knew THEY'd be able to get around it in golf carts and trucks.

Short shorts do make me feel better! But a sarong works even better. You're right, CD, they don't make it bigger every year, but they did make everything farther apart this year. Which is odd in a city where they are trying to discourage motorized transport and encourage peddle and foot power. I'd l...

How about just making the city smaller in area, and more foot friendly, rather than spreading it farther apart every year?

Oh riight-- because the organizers zip around in golf carts and pickups, and don't care about what it's like on foot or bike.
