What are camp fees? And BYO tent shade, or is the sleeping area already covered?

What a great example of doing community right! These few posts touch more or less the 10 principles in all the right way! Guys, please come back in September and post some stories on how it went. Us diehards that can no longer go love to live through your eyes, a paragraph at a time. Everything cam...

Re: Alumicloth - Verdict?
Yep. Aluminet is knit not woven so it doesn’t fray and moop. The clips work great for my less than square structures. Do you cut it down to less than square shapes for said structures? I'm trying to wrap my brain around how it would hold up to cut into triangles (then shark clip grommets and fit th...

Re: AC Suggestion?
I was going to build a swamp cooler for my Shiftpod but if I am bringing a genny anyway, why not just use an AC. Can I run one of a Honda eu2200i? If so, any suggestions? Did you end up coming up with anything on this? It's looking like we may be picking up a shiftpod soon to try and simplify thing...

Re: Enthusiastic virgin from KC
We're everywhere. Seriously, I bet there are 200 burners in KC. Just a guess off the top of my head. Go here http://regionals.burningman.org/ and find the nearest group to you. You might find rideshare partners, camp partners, hell you might even find life partners. I sure have a hard time finding ...

Re: Hello from Atlanta GA
That's a hell of a haul by yourself, I'm impressed. First timer as well, heading out from Kansas City (which I imagine you'll be coming through, about a third of the way there). Also still looking for a ticket, and still haven't hammered out the exact logistics of getting there, but hopefully that f...

Re: Enthusiastic virgin from KC
First timer going out this year from KC. Pretty much our only option is to drive, but I'm thinking it won't be too terrible. We can rotate drivers and stop for the night at any point if need be.

Best way to get a ticket?
So, I'm curious if anyone has any advice on the best way to get a ticket online? I feel like I've read the same thing over and over again on the subject, and haven't really got anywhere. Does it really just come to being the lucky person to see a post in the sell thread on here first, or are things ...

Hello all!
First timer here, but I've been wanting to make it out for several years, and passively planning it. Last year I took the week off from work and thought it was gonna pan out, but wasn't able to secure a ticket. This year, however, luck is finally on my side and I was awarded a low income ticket. At ...

Hello!
Also a first timer here, making the drive out from Missouri. Where are you located, and how far along are you in your preparation? Can't wait to make it out there.
