Hey well as long as they don't plaster their company logos at Burning Man itself, more power to them. Uchronia was amazing at any price. I could hardly believe what I was seeing.

Who sponsored the wooden cavern thing?

That Belgian wooden cavern structure was amazing!!! I have never seen something that large on the playa before! Did anyone see it burn down? I read in the SF Chronical that it cost about $250,000 (a quarter million dollars) to create with over 90 people working on it for 3 weeks! At that expense, th...

Burn night at the Pink Pussycat

After the burn, I saw this girl in the cage on the left that was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. She was a peitite blond. Did anyone else see that girl? Amazing. She was like a dream.

I too have a stronger than normal disgust to other men's dicks for some reason. Although I am a fairly well hung male, I am not in love with my dick either. To me mine is just another one, but because its part of my body, I know it well enough to not be disgusted. If I see a bunch of guys walking ar...

Although the Critical Tits is ostensibly a show of women’s liberation, many of its participants are males looking at women show their bounty. Men are programmed to be much more visually stimulated and, thus, interested in looking at women than women are looking at men's sexual parts. It is the male'...

Re: remote control plane people

Any burners out there are good with the engines of remote-control planes? Need help for an art piece for the playa. My brother is the lead engineer at Castle Creations and writes much of the software, microcode, etc. for their brushless speed controls. I convinced him to go to Burningman for the fi...

What about those coming from the Reno direction? Is Reno the last place to fill up on water? Where in Reno have others filled up water? I am bringing water for 9 people for 4 days! This is a lot of water and a lot of weight. No way in hell I'd have my SUV lug that much water from the SF Bay area. It...

How about "Cities of the Future" by Magic Mushroom? We gonna run run run To the cities of the future Take what we can and bring back home So take me down to the cities of the future Everybody's happy and i feel at home (x4) I found myself going away Never wanting to go back again. A few poeple might have been down about the thousands dead and uprooted in the south. I know it was on many people's mind. It didn't bother me, but I can see how it could have bothered some.

From a distance whippet cartridges look just like CO2 cartridges. Any cop would know that CO2 cartridges are used in many air guns, including fully automatic pellet guns, as well as can be easily made into an explosive. I can see why a police officer might be curious if he or she saw something like ...

sonicchang, what did your friend have they didn't like? A big 4-foot bong? You have to use your head. Don't have drug paraphernalia and the like sitting around. I would even hide my vitamin pills. As it turns out my wife and I's anniversary is September 4th, and the man burned on that day this year! We've attended two years now, and while I literally had to drag my wife out there last year, she had the time of her life there, both last and this year. It's the highlight of our year and a wonde...

Why on earth would someone want to stalk you in the first place? You sound paranoid. Sure you didn't take one too many "orange sunshines" back in the 60s?

Anyone else think this year was better than last?

I was wondering if the downward trend of the art from last year would continue leaving us with a big rave eventually, but I was pleasantly surprised that did not happen in my opinion! In fact there were some pieces that totally blew my mind! Passage, Synapses, and Inner Mind all come to mind as just...

I thought the man might have been burning a little faster than planned too, but I am not complaining at all. The effect was the most intense fireworks show I have ever seen at that distance. The crowd went nuts too! It was a really impressive show I thought. After seeing the troubles with the machin...

Re: There's a Way to Deal With It

A survey was done, of petty MJ possession BLM citations in 2004. Of 26 issued, most paid $250. (including 4 on installment plans), 9 didn't (got a federal warrant issued), and 2 fought and got the charges dismissed -- How they did it, will be discussed in a couple of weeks (when they get a chance t...

For me it's just that it was so amazing this year that I guess it's a hard come down. I suppose I longed for a little more interaction this year too. My bro came with me. He was a virgin, and while I love him to pieces, he has absolutely no real appreciation for music. Music is my soul, and I felt a...

Anyone a little sad it's all over?

I had such a wonderful time this year. It was my second burn, yet I had the best time this year of all time! Thinking back on it, it all seems like a dream, but now I must wake from the dream. Does anyone else feel deep sadness it's over? I guess the only bad part of a peak experience like Burningma...
