I am posting a link to an application note regarding the 555 timer. This has several reference designs and covers pretty much everything you wanted. If you need further help, let me know, but for now I am assuming you have enough experience given this information. http://www.doctronics.co.uk/pdf_fil...

Re: Group Buy? Luxeon LEDs?

If I can find a PWM, they can be dimmed, but I haven't found one. Making a PWM is not that hard. If you can wire the LEDs and make them work, a PWM is not much harder. You should be able to find an application note on a 555 timer that would fill your need. If you need more information, let me know.

Well it has been nice joking about tunes, but my head is starting to feel like it is on the turntable and spinning. At least it is not set on 78 rpm.

Have a good evening, and have a safe drive Robbi.

Night all.

I am still trying to figure out which song you meant by

STOP!

I am hearing a very muddled version of what I believe is multiple songs.

I knew if I stuck around the bar more of a crowd would show up.

New words for the song:

Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum.

Or was it:

Ninety-nine bottles of rum on the wall.....

That! is a BRAIN MUSIC VIRUS... ...feelin' groovy. BWAH HA HA HA!!! Don't get me started on R-E-S-P-E-C-T. too late. Please note: do NOT let the dancer get a hold of the turntable. Robbi dashes behind the Bar and collects another (sixth!) beer If the dancer gets the turntable, what happens, does it...

It looks like most of the patrons are waiting for the big parties tomorrow night. I guess they don't want to start a big party night with a nasty hangover. Nothing like planning ahead, but Tuesday morning is going to be rough!

If you are using IE, I have seen it do some very strange things. If this is the case, I would suggest a reboot and give it another try, you also may want to switch to Firefox.

Otherwise, a little more information would be nice regarding your system.

Sitting on that tractor and thinking about that song really got to me, so I was thinking about changing it a bit to make it fit the moment. BoxB. I just noticed your signature block. Between that and Pinemom's song, I am doomed!!! I have nothing against MVs, althought I may consider using them only during the day or early in the week before the jerks arrive. My point is simple, laughing about flaming a biker and causing an accident is not beneficial on a public board. This behavior makes it very difficult to call it an "accid...

4 MPH is only 6 FEET PER SECOND. If your headlights are not good enough to give you several seconds of reaction time, you have a problem. I am a bit surprised by the tone of this thread. I was looking at panels via the web last night and if you really want to go this route it would appear that panels are selling for at least $5 per watt, with smaller panels being more. As far as size, with a decent panel you should get at least 15 watts per square foot, which means for your 3x5 it s...

I would suggest that you give an idea what you want to get out of it, and then answers can be more specific. How much power do you want to send to lights? Are these all 12 lights, or are you powering them off an inverter? If you are going to use an inverter, is there anything else you plan to plug i...
