Re: Have not received tickets yet. Have you?

Ironically, If you had picked "Will Call" instead of having your ticket shipped, you would not be worried about getting your ticket. Just pull up to Will Call, park. Show some photo ID and vola, you would have your ticket. I did the stressful shipping thing my first two years, now I do Will Call. S...

Re: What to do with meat and veggie scraps

We use a collapsible plastic box that we line with a trash bag and put all the wet trash in. Drys out really fast. Only thing is people must remember to transfer the dry stuff to the regular garbage before putting new wet stuff on top. Sometimes they do.

You'll get an email with a tracking number when they ship. If you haven't gotten the email, then they haven't shipped yet.

Wow, I wouldn't have thought that ebay sellers beat the big electronic distributors in price. Just looked thru it, and those prices are very cool.

Thanks to both of you.

Re: The 2,240 LED bodysuit v2.0

The cheapest that I can find the LEDs for is around $0.15 vs $0.02 for the single colors. That's not bad when you compare everything.. but it was also a time issue. I just had so much on my plate this last year.. Ohh, that's much lower than what I saw. Especially the RGBs. Do you have a source for ...

4. If I resign myself to using candy-caned rebar, is there a way I can get the candy-caning done for me in Reno? Or, option 5, you just buy precut rebar (at homedepot or such) and don't candy cane it. Just bring something to cover the top. Tennis balls work great. Or buy those orange OSHA approved ...

In my experience, that means it's too early for there to be any tracking information. Try again tomorrow. Upon reading the "instructions" (usually when all else fails), it takes 48 hrs for them to update the tracking information. The USPS tracking system isn't as good as those of UPS and Fedex. I'v...

Thanks for the rebar cutting tips. Don't have a band saw, so angle cutter it is.

Re: BLM Permit: What Does This Mean For Tickets?

I thought the permit was originally capped at 50,000? Where did this 58,000 number come from? Also, JRS says close to 58,000 tickets sold - so if they increased the permit to 60,900, that should mean there are at least 2,900 tickets, right? I think the 50k was last year and they had been talking ab...

Re: Attaching elwire to sheet metal

My concern is that the tie-wire may abrade the plastic coating of the elwire and damage the innards. I have a bag full of small clips, for wiring, but they are metal and will interrupt the flow of light, giving a dot/dash effect. They will also look lousy on the teeth. If you are drilling holes, yo...

If you are renting one from further away, make sure you factor in the mileage charges. I've seen rentals where they include only a fairly low amount of miles, and after that you pay per mile. That could kill the deal if you rent it further away. Of course, YMMV ;)

Why didn't my "quote work? My BBCode is disabled... BBCode needs to be enabled. It's slightly confusing since the box says 'disable BBCode' and you need to uncheck it. Double negative. If you had that right then I don't know, your code looks OK. I copied and pasted it into mine and it shows up right.

When I have gotten tickets for European friends in the past, I have not mailed them. They have usually picked them up in person here. Re: LED electrical question

I would put one resistor in front of each LED if you can, that way you can run them parallel with no issue. Plus the resistor would only have to be 1/4 or 1/8 Watt rated (Less maybe, depending on the exact voltage and mA that you pick).
