EspressoDude made some great dog tags for our camp - it remains one of my favorite gifts I ever got at the burn. I think it is a great idea and would love to receive one if we catch up on the playa. Go for it!

Looking for a great Bakery in Reno or Sparks

I am looking for a good bread / pie bakery in Reno or Sparks. Do you have a favorite bakery in either of those towns?

I leave at 5:00 am on the Tuesday after the burn (I help teardown our camp). Done this twice and have had no problem at all driving to Reno, cleaning the car, showering at a truck stop and catching a noon flight to Philadelphia. Hope this helps.

Gyre - you're right. No model = little help. I took a look on their site before I posted my initial comment but could not find anything that looked like the tent set I purchased last year. The tent I got had 4 shock poles and held up like a champ. I wish I could give out more info about the tent but...

ibdave: I read your first post too fast. I read it as "what is acaplaya" My error - sorry 'bout that.

Thanks for the replies but I don't think they are the ones I am looking for. The folks I heard sing had a name based on coffee: "Special Grind", "Special Blend" something like that.

I am sorry I was not clearer - an "A cappella" group is one that plays without instruments - not the actual name of the group. There are multiple spellings of this term which also may be leading to some confusion. I spoke with one of the singers at the end of their performance and they told me their...

Name of the A cappella group at Center Camp?

Anyone know of the name / website / contact info of the A cappella group that played either Tuesday or Wednesday morning at Center Camp? They had four members and finished their set with "Bohemian Rhapsody." They were killer and I would love to know where else they perform. Thanks.

Bluetality, For two years I left at 5:30 am on the Tuesday morning after the event ended and just drove out. No problems at all. Last year I used an old REI tent I had. This year, to save on shipping costs and to have a tent waiting for me for future burns, I purchased a tent similar to this one fro...

He obviously wasn't at the event; at least not mentally.
