Having worked in the government system, sometimes suing for money is the only way someone actually gets fired if they messed up. It's not ideal but if someone was really an idiot in the way they acted "in public interest" it may be the best solution long term.

I will not bring him until he is fully capable of telling me how he is feeling. I believe that little things like, "Daddy, I'm hot, thirsty, tired and hungry." Will be instrumental in determining his experience. You probably already know by now that he doesn't have to actually say those words for h...

If you're stupid enough to pull a knife on 30 guys with guns you probably deserve to get shot. Seriously... I'm glad our police officers hold their safety in higher regard than the lives of scum like this.

at least, with peppermint rhino, you can make something up that has peppermints and rhinos ... Also I don't think I would make up a lie like that. It could easily be answered by "exotic dancing" alone, without having to make things up. Kids too young to comprehend the notion of sexuality will not t...

how would you answer "daddy, what's suck 'n fuck???" That answer obviously depends on the age of the kid, etc. But I'd say, "It's supposed to be an adult joke and it's not really funny." Which is pretty much a similar answer I'd give for Peppermint Rhino. Dealing with adult topics is easy. I don't ...

I'm not trying to scare anyone, but if you're not ready for those things it could potentially be an awful experience. Can you imagine getting up there, paid for tickets, etc, then having your significant other saying this isn't appropriate for the kids and wanting to leave? To someone who is conserv...

It can get very hot and very cold. Sometimes there are duststorms for days with few breaks. Some tent trailers will not help much with dust storms, while others do a good job. You could be stuck in a 105 degree trailer in a dust storm that lasts 3 days. It could be beautiful and you might not experi...

I didn't see the CC out there this year, plus I recall a topic on this board about the owners of it not being able to make out this year and were selling the Cheshire Cat.
He was trying to sell it, but I know he's taking it to LA decom this weekend, so I'm not sure what happened.

Good one, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100 All the floors you visited an odd number of times (perfect squares). I had to work my way up to 9 to figure it out. Yep. And the reasoning behind it is easy when you think about it. He visits a floor once for each number than can be used to multiply to...

one, the first floor. Wrong. When you did the 2's, you turned 4 off, then when you did the 4's you turned it back on and never touched it again. That's not the full answer though, you have to finish it. Anyone who wants the answer can PM me, but it's more satisfying once you figure out the trick an...

Actually a good question I'll add, because I think it's interesting and some people may think it's stupid, but they'd be wrong. Q: There is a janitor in a 100 story building, who cleans at night. One night when all his work is done he's bored and so he decides to turn all the lights on in the buildi...

I'd have to agree with others that think it's a combo of money and the shitty playa conditions of last year. It was dusty and hot last year (more so than I've seen), the windy drive made it crappy, you could hardly ride a bike and the city was so huge you needed a bike to get around. I had a good ti...

I figured. Unless you're a great writer (which I am not) it's difficult to convey tone and sometimes just as hard to interpret it, so I never assume. Even though I may seem serious about it, I'm not, for one I know kids aren't going to be banned so it's not a "real" issue and even if they did, I thi...

If you really don't like it, what you can do is go to google, search "<product> and forums". Then when people mention it, respond with negative information about the product. If you really care about this type of advertising, instead of complaining, give them negative press and encourage others to d...

What burningman could do is release a press release saying they will no longer use that product, the product violates some of their principals and Larry hates the taste of their product.

I think you are perfectly in your rights to mention a trademarked name in your ad, as long as it's true. I could put out an ad that says I hate the taste of McDonalds, I could say that my phone was tested at McDonalds while I ate, or I could say I donated 300 tons of tang to McDonalds, as long as it...
