Maybe lamplighters on Thursday?
Why not Monday and Tuesday?
And yes you did it right, thanks for sharing.

I am, and I've been truly inspired to the point that I'm going to forgo my normal routine of handing you a blue ribbon. Instead I will create something fitting in it's place, and share it with the rest of the city should the manner arise. TPBM knows where I left my silicone stuff at, as I must make ...

Re: Would a Spam Camp be too commercial?

A terrible idea just popped in my head. Make SPAM can head gear. Like full on over the head type masks. Have twenty or so people wearing them, and then dive down onto camps/people/whatever at once! Have spam ready to give out, editable spam, mail spam, phone spam, and spam spam! Just swarm the fuck ...

Re: Would a Spam Camp be too commercial?

Personally I don't think so. Spam, although a brand, is almost by definition the most generic thing out there. So generic people are growing synthetic designer protein. Your issue would come in if you have backing from Spam. But that's not going to happen. So really, your worry will be about the peo...

Yeah, Grai's not plug & play. He's low-maintenance. And a unicorn. The only reason people think Grai is a unicorn is because he walks on his hands so often. I am a giant pirate unicorn dinosaur, with semi flammable properties. Just stay away from the conclave area and your tiny little footsies will...

The ground of my tent plus all the blankets on top of the beer during the day has always seemed to do the trick for me. Although I like the idea of the freezer and fridge as outlined above.

Or he could be talking about the sliver pre-event when Will Call isn't open 24/7 yet. Otherwise Will Call and Gate shut down for lost kids, and bad dust. There is a lot for Will Call, and instructions posted and/or on the radio on what lane(s) to be in if you need to go to Will Call. The issue comes...

I need to glue my current boots together, but if I happen upon some new boots I might just buy them.

TPBM would dress up all fancy for the playa, but doesn't want to spend the money.

You know what? Everyone should just pick one song that they love right now, and post it. Then on some random day on the playa, we play all of the songs at once in the general direction of a long porta-potty line.

Savannah - look into steampunk. The running gag is steampunk is goths who've discovered brown , but closer to the truth is it's industrial/goth burners and designers who wanted something that would coordinate better with the playa :D Haha, yeah . . . they say that here too, and I think it's very fu...

Why yes you've posted in the right spot. Also the list of theme camps isn't out yet but will be in the following months. If you haven't yet you should look over the survival guide , since that will answer the most important questions. As for camps that are looking for people, take some time in this ...

The one thing I didn't quite understand when reading the email was what do you do if you are camping with a normal placed theme camp. Can you go to it right away, or do you have to hang around G for a bit?

I'm thinking of buying a car right now that I will drive to Burning Man (and the other 51 weeks out of the year). Has anybody taken a Toyota Yaris to the playa? Specifically a newer one like the 2012 model? It's great to hear that a Honda Fit can survive the trip. What model of Honda Fit? FYI, I've...
