Re: The person below me

No, but I do have a car that would make a great MV platform for someone.

TPBM is watching out for sales on solar powered holiday string lights so they can make their tent all fancy.

Personally yes, professionally no.
TPBM has recently found the spot their cat hides all the things, and is planing some sneaky revenge on the cat.

Actually drinking water out of a bottle from which I'm told was filled from glacial ice. Personally I don't buy that.

TPBM has read a newspaper from the nineteenth century recently.

I didn't even know that Thanksgiving had come and past until this past Friday. So yeah, likely nothing. It's not like there would be any place to go to or anything to do in my area anyway.

Re: Work in Progress 2013

Just wondering, but should we have a WIP 2014 page? For burning related projects? Or maybe keep this one going? Regardless I'm planing out a mail box system for 120+ campmates, and a new shade for a new section of camp. On the long shot list is a drone with a net, and a new living structure that dou...

Speaking of buttons from Robbidobbs, mine read "The kitty would want you to let me spank you". Got it in the mail the other day, and it is awesome; so thank you again.

Re: Newbie On Fire for 2014

Personally my advice would be to cover your RSR basics now, and before you move on to any grand art plan. Most of us artsy types tend to get tunnel vision on an idea, only to burn out on it mid way though execution. So work on the needs of yourself while your out on the playa for the next few months...

Re: Experience with serving alcohol?

I think what Trishntek, and the rest of the people of Retrofrolic do is one of the best examples of running a bar right on the playa. So hear what they are telling you. One thing I saw this year, which I thought was clever, was Duck Pound gave out wristbands. It may not be the best thing for your ba...

Re: The person below me

I actually wouldn't mind learning the violin. Not sure if I would show it off at the burn next year. Perhaps I could learn some new knots. At least then they would be used at the burn next year.

TPBM is also considering learning something new for the burn next year.

I loved the Daft Punk VIP pass the best, even before I noticed it was your favorite. You did get all crazy when they started to play that one song from the Tron soundtrack. I'll be honest, it sounds like to me that you simply read something more into it, and projected your own what-not onto her question. Your advice is sound, however I would add that most of the time cigars are in fact cigars, and there is no deeper meaning than what we choose to be.
