Hoolie,

Have you ever thought about making the side walls so that the fabric hangs down into the evap pond to soak up water and help evaporate it in the wind?

You could use aluminet or shade cloth to help with your shade needs. Then if you wanted to add some color or style to it you could add chiffon.

Re: Camelbak versus Water Canteen

Personally, I love my camelback. I use the bag to help carry all of the things I need. As a fellow ginger, having 3 liters of water with me is a life saver at times. Some days the playa takes you to places you weren't expecting and you aren't home for 12+ hours. At night I use two bladders in the ba...

Last year having the bouncers stopping the riff raff popping in worked quite well - but there was still a bunch of non eplayans who skulked in. Not everyone will RSVP, not everyone will have a pre made name tag (hey dealing with a bunch of hopeless hippies here), so what to do... I propose a questi...

I would say to use darktards over hippies. Hippies tend to leave funky stains on the vehicle. If you have to use the hippies you may want to put some cardboard or something between them and the vehicle. The concrete pouring tubes could be cut and sat on the flat side so they wouldn't roll ...

I used a gallon jug after I emptied it but made sure to decorate it all over so that I would know it wasn't for drinking. I also made sure to put it out of arms reach from the bed and always had 1-2 with water close to the bed. No issues all week.

Oh, and a beverage? There's always a need for more to drink right?!? Absolutely! I will have the customary bottle(s) of absinthe. We could always stand for more beer and bags of ice. Barbie Death Camp generally donates ice to the event, but history has shown we could always use more. Especially for...

Nice set-up, Hondovious - what size yurt is that? It is an H15. Standard hexayurt with 2' added to each wall for height.
