Zero Post users. I want to run with that a minute and go on a tangent. I'm on and off here at all times of the day and night and curiosity has me check out the new users who register. I've seen some accounts that link back to adult sites and spam stuff so some of those zero posts accounts may have b...

Stop! Airbrake...whatever, just stop.

Spanky said the other content is still out there. What we have here is a temporary space while the rest of the board is reworked. It's not gone, it's simply being repackaged for easier use.

Take a deep breath, calm down, and let's work through the process.

This is one of those me too posts but the buddy list reminds me of the old high school cliques that I despised so much. I can see the value of having a buddy list for MSN, Yahoo, or AOL with millions of users out there. But on a board with a little over 8000 users is it really worth the time and tro...

Spanky, it's a shower structure, not straw. And it's not coming along at all. I'm missing my creative inspirations which are locked up in the older eplaya threads.

But it's funny you mention that...I had a crazy idea of building a small strawman to take to Interfuse.

IMHO, larger inboxes = more server space needed on already multi-tasking servers. I'm happy with the inbox space we have...I'm forced to go in and do some spring cleaning now and then. Do I really need that old message from DVD Burner from 2 years ago? No, I don't think so. And so it's gone and I ha...

Since this is the general discussion thread, did anyone else vote in the latest Borg2 election? Choices, choices, choices. For me it came down to Dance Dance Revolution with fire ravers...literally, or grilled cheese sandwiches and a community burn platform. But they've got a lot of good things goin...

My wheel mouse and those scroll bars are certainly getting a workout with the new designs. I wonder what Bob would think about this with his minimalistic approach to this stuff?

I don't have a cite right in front of me but if I remember correctly anything that's supposed to be burned out on the playa, etc. is supposed to register. That way safety plans are checked, burn scar prevention is discussed, and they know who to come looking for if someone leaves a mess for DPW to c...

Would there be any interest in a Badger / Kinetic thunderdome battle? If there's enough interest and a serious request comes down I'd consider it. Also Spanky, hold those gold stars. There's several reasons why I have a blog...he's one of them. I took it over there so the eplaya new dawn idea has a ...

Is there a way to limit the size of any posted images similar to the avatar size limits? The large images and side to side scrolling are a major pain. Or if nothing else post a recommended size guide so we can scale down our images ahead of time or something.

I'm still partial to 33 and the poll results seem to show others agree. With lower numbers it drove up the page counts to some high numbers that could be a turnoff for new people to wade through. Q: Is there a server performance benefit to having high or low page lengths? If we could get faster load...

Geekster, I understand your point. Hopefully it won't be necessary though and the new tools will police things enough to avoid it. I guess I can think of it as a virtual Thunderdome that can be used if needed or something like that. Observer did touch on something I heard and was curious about. I'm ...

If it has a space reserved for it, you've essentially sanctioned it.
Let's give plonk a chance to work and then have the admins tinker under the hood after we know what the changes can and cannot do.

I thought the new changes would make this into the 3Playa annex. I was wrong. Not only did the admins give us plonk but they gave us Ignore User to stop private harassment. This is better than anything people asked for. It took a lot longer than expected but the first impression is it's worth it.

I hearby announce that the virtual eplaya drama queen tiara is up for grabs. The only qualifier is the wearer must know how to apply proper makeup without using concrete trowels which rules a certain eplayan automatically ineligible.

I'm sure someone will step up and claim it. C-ya!
