Why? Sylvia and Sed might be socks but there's nothing wrong with them imho. I wish the ID's would stay put.

The amazing uses of ravers! Somebody outta write a book about it! Come to think of it I could collect all the raver tips and get ahold of the people that create the "How to get laid at Burning Man" book and get the two distributed together! I kinda need to look into this!

Another Homeland Security concern:
According to this article off the AP Wire: http://tinyurl.com/2dzal
The FAA is closing off the airspace above Las Vegas on NYE to all but commercial traffic. I wonder why?

Sometimes the socks allow you to explore points of view or angles on discussions that you might not be comfortable presenting otherwise. Sometimes your shy and not sure how your ideas will be accepted, and the sock serves as a shield to insulate the puppeteer from any backlash. If the sock is handle...

So to ask the simplistic questions, when does the killing stop? And can it be stopped? I'm starting to think Alice's tagline applies here: Bitch all you want, it doesn't change anything.

Sorry, the spreading of Sharia Law to the USA wasn't from Bin Laden in a long winded video clip, it came from here: http://www.mille.org/people/rlpages/Bin_Laden.html

Sorry for the confusion.

They feel they are protecting their own and that this is a state of war or jihad for them too. They don't plan to stop until the USA lives under Sharia law. That's something to think about.

Badger, regarding the EMP stuff, I'm sure it's happened out there long before I came along. But I dislike competition...I was thinking of trying out the Cellular/PCS/Wi-Fi and WI-Max jammers myself! Some of those EMP pulses wreak havoc with spectrum for hours or days and would mess up my tests!

Badger and Miss Franjipan together? <Shudder!> Now Isotopia and Miss Franjipan would be a great pair. Iso could help Miss Franjipan work on the greenish tint issue and they could offer each other fashion tips and then share their welath of knowledge with the rest of us who struggle with fashion...in...

It's beyond the capabilities of many but you could always spoof the signals for GPS, and the portable cellular jammer that Badger linked to does work if you can get your hands on it. Good luck on buying it; getting Absinthe past customs is easier. And anyone setting off an EMP on the playa would lik...

Sarongs are tired, wings are tired...I'm still making both for this year. Bleech. Get creative and go make...

p.s. Who really gives a crap what you're using for a name on the eplaya these days? About the name, somebody does and that's all I care about. As for Jungo, I was curious if anyone's actually drove it and knows. There are some who post here that might have real experience with it and that's what I'...

The small 1 ton Harbor Freight arbor press is not worth the money. I bought one to flatten 1/2 conduit and even with a cheater bar on the handle it was a POS and a royal pain to deal with. I'd seriously look at the larger press, or the second link that 68 Barracuda posted. My arbor press is now sitt...

Jungo Road Year Round

I'm very familiar with Jungo Road in August when I take the infamous shortcut from Winnemucca to Empire. It's rough, rocky, but usually bone dry and with the right equipment, marginally passable. But what is it like in January or February when there is snow in the mountains? Has anyone travelled the...
