Glad you folks are liking the money.... If anyone else is creating currency, please post your files here. I brought the FREE money to a woman's attention when she was looking for a "gift" idea. She pm me to say "What good is BM monies? You can buy nothing at BM" She wasn't kidding around... I'm stil...

I saw a $20 folded to show the burning towers of 911.

I saw rings made of money and a few other tricks.

By the way... these $1,000,000.00 bills are the same size as our currency so they can be folded in a similar fashion.

FREE Money to BURN!

This is a duplicate of some info that I posted in another area... Money is a big part of the American Dream and so I just wanted to get the word out that you can download a high res file of some very cool BM $1,000,000.00 dollar bills to gift on the playa this year. You can manipulate my art or do a...

Thanks BitterDan! I'm finding that the only time that I get a chance to do FUN creative art now is when I'm doing something BM related. It's kind of funny... when I earned money with my accordion, I was doing art for fun. Now that I do art of a living, I play my accordion for fun. One of the things ...

Keep your flashlight in the same place ALL THE TIME.

Darkness can sneak up on you real fast, and if you have to go searching for your flashlight... it's tough.

I have a LED headlamp... it's great, leaves both hands free to prepare for the evening.

Thanks for the kind words lonestoner916 I had a lot of fun doing it. I'm interested in seeing what kind of paper it gets printed on. I saw some paper that had fibers in it at the art store... it might look really cool to print it on that... or on a parchment paper. Here's the link to the FREE money ...

[I think this has something to do with the length of the rebar. You simply could not pour enough water to soak 18" of playa.

That could be the case. I've used this technique for my 12" stakes.

Sometimes your tent stakes or rebar can get stuck into the playa... an easy way loosen them up is to pour water around them.

If it creates a hole, be kind and fill it.

I've rented a u-haul in the past and although I'm a firm believer of lining your mini-van or rental car, I've found that just sweeping the back of a truck is fine... but you should line the cab of the truck. One year I almost lost my bike lock... since I rely on my bike to transport my accordion around the playa, it could have been a big hassel to have my bike "borrowed" by someone.

Tip: Duct tape your bike lock to the shaft of your bike seat. It's always available, easy to use and won't get lost.

I've posted this else were.... but plastic tarps and aluminum foil to line your car BEFORE you get onto the playa will keep it "clean".... very important if you are doing a rental and don't want to pay another $125 for the clean-up. Here are my favorites: Caution: This will not work if you are naked. I've sewn elastic "thread" into the bottom of my pants pockets and I tie my key to it. Lots of folks store their keys in their tent, but if you need a lot of access to your car, you'll never lose your keys if they're tied to your p...

Mojo... good point about the blue tape.

On some years I've used it... make sure you get the wide tape, when I used the thin (I was trying to save money) my plastic tarps started falling down... but the wide tape used in excess worked fine.

I've been flying from NY to Reno every year... this will be my 10th in a row. Last year was the first year that I shipped my 2 bags ahead of time because the year before, one of my bags went to Maui without me and I lost 1 day on the playa waiting for it. I'll be shipping my bags again this year.......

"Do they make special adapters for the "hole" in the bottom of my accordian ?"

Your question is a puzzel on many levels.

1- What adapters?
2- What "hole"?
3- Is an accordian the same as an accordion?

That's a great way of looking at it!

It has my vote.

I wonder how many folks on this thread left early because of a wedding or chose the Burn over the wedding.
