These aren't bumper stickers, but they are in the spirit of bumper stickers that I love so much... very clever: 1) The exchange between Churchill & Lady Astor: She said, 'If you were my husband I'd give you poison,' and he said, 'If you were my wife, I'd drink it.' 2) A member of Parliament to Disra...

Some of those groups/folks were creating music in the 60's so I wasn't including them, but swampdog.... you're right there was some great music in the 70's ... if you filtered out most of the Disco. When did the Ramones first gain attention? Saw them live a few times in the 80's... my son introduced...

I was into Hendrex, I was into Led Zep... But when Disco hit... I did something I thought I'd never do... I started listening to Country music.... anything to get away from Disco on the radio dial. Like in any kind of music there was some good Disco songs ( Uh huh I like it ), but the majority of th...

For the past 11 years I've been trying to get my wife to join me. The year before last, as I was hitting the sack at 3 in the morning with techno blaring and the dust in my tent swirling I realized that although I'd love to share the BM experience with her, she'd have a better time not being there w...

Another tip...

Last year I opened a gallon jug of water and kept it in my car with my accordion (accordion was in a closed canvas back pack with a home made humidifier... see post above)...

the extra moisture helped my acoustic instrument sound better.

Any other accordion players here?

Favorite Bumper Stickers

Don't you love reading bumper stickers? Sometimes they make me laugh. Sometimes they make me scream. Sometimes they make me think. Sometimes I think.. hey I could be friends with that person... sometimes it's the opposite reaction. Here are some of my favorites: I play the accordion... and I vote! M...

For the past two years, I've seen heavy duty tarps that were used as shade structures rip where the grommets with rope or bunge cords were attached to the supports. In one case the canvas was old and brittle. Not an issue for you. The other case, the grommets were placed too far apart causing lots o...

I would recommend that you put a few C shape cuts in your canvas to allow some of the wind to blow through or you might have some ripping or a giant sail pulling your posts out o the ground.

I just don't understand how Tribe, with as many members that it has, and as many different "tribes" that it has, can NOT attract a wider base of advertisers.

More advertisers equals more revenue. More revenue means they can pay for more folks to be on staff and more money to clean up the code.

I built a humidifier out of a small plastic bottle. Cut both ends off and pop some holes through it. Then stuff it with a wet sponge or two. Keep it in your guitar case... and moisten when needed.
