As Phil posted snakebite kits are worthless at best and dangerous at worst. While there are no snakes on the playa they do exist in the sage along the roads to the playa. If you pull off the road and venture into the weeds and sage watch for snakes.

I asked the people at the Empire Store about selling water for RV's. NO! Their water is provided by US Gypsum and the company does not allow them to sell it. They will have a supply of bottled water.

For water I bring several 6 gallon containers and use them to fill a 2 1/2 gallon container that has a spigot.
Beer is not the greatest beverage for hydration, it is a diauretic-you piss most of it away and it takes a lot of water for your liver to process the alcohol.

Just as concrete is more than cement adobe is more than just mud. To construct a structure on the playa with adobe would be a lot of work. It would be a lot of work to deconstruct the structure to a "Leave No Trace" standard. It was a nice idea.
