I got a pair of Caterpillar Colts about six months ago. At first they were kind of uncomfortable, but after getting a pair of rigid insoles (don't get soft ones for boots) and letting the leather stretch for a couple of months, they became my day-to-day shoe. I swear by the damn things now. http://w...

Re: first timer from NY

I know that Disorient has a theme camp and have been going for a while. They throw raves around my area. They're actually throwing a benefit for Burning Man so I hope to go to that because that's all I know of so far. My first night ever at the Burn I ended up at Disorient dancing in roller blades....

I was interviewed by a lady with a tape recorder about how I felt evolution applied to Burning Man while I may or may not have been on acid and gave her the most insanely lovey-dovey New Age hippie bullshit answer because my brain m...

Another Notes; Not everyone that goes to raves and wears candy acts like an e-tard... Just IMHO, I've attended quite a few the last few years.. Always took care of myself and the idiots around me. Forgive me. What is PLUR? PLUR stands for Peace Love Unity Respect. It's a raver invention that incorporates head massages, light shows, and wandering around trying to bum money off of people to get another pill. NOTE: PLUR is a limited time offer that takes effect approximately 30 minutes after ta...

Unless you're trying to humidify the desert, why bother evaporating it? Use a funnel, pour it back into the empty container it came from, and haul back out. ...it is simply too delicate to put in the North London garden it was supposed to adorn. Yeah, pretty sure that the Burn would fucking DESTROY it. Mr Dagg's previous outlandish inventions include converting his garden railings into a giant xylophone. Okay...seriously, though. This guy needs to come...

I'm going to track down the no-water shower body wash I was reading about somewhere around here to keep my water for drinking. Medical supply store or a large pharmacy. the answer to why we need our own spaces is "because we are a minority and that makes it easier to find each other." It is the same reason why burners (another minority) have their own tribes and websites. It is so they can associate among people with common view points and experiences. That's a cr...

Are there any foothill projects that Barbie Death Camp will be working on over the summer that I might be able to help out a bit on? I think I'll be camping with Outpost Berlin, but I was raised in Ophir and would love to come over and lend a hand while I'm back up visiting family.
