Been going through all my weirdest/coolest clothes and deciding what i'll wear vs. what i'll donate (to the black rock boutique? to passing burners who look my size?). i figure there are always people who will wear and appreciate stuff better or more than me. added a leopard print stripe up the side...

I suppose a bit of clarification could help: I posted this assuming that most of the people responding to it would either be repeat burners or would be planning to be repeat burners. The intended question was whether or not people viewed the burns more as "part of a series" of burns or if they saw e...

In [briefly] considering selling my ticket this year, I started to think about "next year" before "this year" has even starte...

There is only one thing I can remember (anymore) about my dream last night, and it was watching the man's arms slowly raise. I know I cheered my ass off in the dream, and I can't help but wonder if I made any external waking-world sounds, too. How weird would that be to hear your house mate hooting ...

that fits the '08 map, though 6:30 is mislabeled as 6:00. notice where esplanade intersects the center camp outer ring road? this was unique to '08, when they were experimenting with the city's layout. for '09, they pretty much brought back the '07 layout. here is a comparison: http://www.burningman...

i've been considering getting a pair of these: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/312DqZ2O5lL._SS500_.jpg i like the idea of lightweight sneakers, and the super tall boot style would probably be good for minimizing dust infiltration.. anyone have experience and/or insight regarding these, or norm...

i was woken up by a postal carrier at the door with an important document for me to sign.
i am now in possession of one ticket.

Well met, Loricy! In your words I'm seeing a realization of "What's the point of radical inclusion if I won't allow myself to be included". Do I have that right? Yes, well said. As I see it, posting a late introduction is a little silly, but I'd much rather feel silly than feel hesitant to announce...

Belated Salutations..
I've been lurking the eplaya for over a year now, and I've started posting within the last few months.. I'd like to officially state that the plethora of information available on these boards completely saved my ass and got me as prepared as possible for my first burn (last year). thank you, everyon...
