Re: SF Decompression: October 9th 2011 Heat The Streat FaIRE

Decom was a mess, but we all had a great time! There was about 40 of the Temple Crew that took over the corner of the park in front of BMIR who played rocking music most of the night. Re: Temple of Transition Official Thread

jk - While size does matter, I am happier with the quality of experience of your smaller avatar. I fully intended to get to the M&G; I had my bottles of belgium beer chillin, schwag, the SPSM stamp, and more, and well, it just all fell to shit. I have made it the last 2 years, and it sounded like it...

Re: Lasers in the eye - Serious injury, Please Read

I was warned about the blue ones this year, from a friend who makes lasers and has put on several shows this summer in Reno.
He suggested high rated UV protection glasses to protect your eyes from injury.
There are available in shades or clears.

Re: Sawdust moop question

From the Temple build, we learned that while nail guns are easier to use, it was harder to ensure that the nail went thru two pieces. For instance, when skinning a framed doorway, when using a hammer, you could tell from the resistance that the nail was going thru two pieces of wood. So we end up us...

We have been discussing at the temple buildsite just what the temple means to each of us. It's easy to get caught up in deadlines and finances and hammering. Someone will stop by with a heartfelt story about what the temple means to them and remind us of the heavy intensity we feel out on the playa....

CFM - I have wanted to fill a jar of bacon grease and then add a wick for a bacon candle. Damn you would think that would smell good.

Our crew will be there Sunday removing the stained glass and chandeliers, etc before we burn the Temple. Let me know if I can help you out.

What a perfect day - the wind had finally died down.
I do think you made it out burn-free and with a fully belly.
You must stay and shoot next time - hard to walk away from tannerite with a 50.
Thank you.
