If you use a laser gun that shoots a bright red light, like a laser pointer, people tend to notice when a sniper style red dot is on them.

Also, elmers glue and tissue paper work well.

Victorian! You can find lenses for those type of goggles in every color on etsy for pretty cheap. I ordered a couple pairs in green and light blue. They were about 5$. They don't seem great for sealing out the dust though. My goggles wouldn't, that's for sure. And I've stitched a leather covering al...

Crap. I usually drive around 80-90mph. I drive a little Celica, so was planning on towing, and hadn't thought on the whole speed with a trailer thing. I suppose I need to rent a bigger car....or ship stuff to my friend in Cali who's meeting us in BRC

Yeah snow does reflect. I've gotten my worst sunburns from snow skiing. I'd imagine the playa may, as well. Good call. Hadn't thought of that. Though I don't plan to be naked.

Ben Nye aquacake (add water and paint on, like water paint) with spray set sealer...or you can use their mixing liquid instead of water to mix in with the paint to help it set. Way awesome, easy to clean off. I don't recommend the creme base, especially for all over paint, as it doesn't allow your s...

camel spiders (those things in Iraq) are grossly exaggerated from what I hear.

Also, spiders aren't a problem if you are smart. Also, I hear bugs dislike peppermint soap? Maybe that's just ticks.

The anime "Blame!", while odd, is definitely neat in concept for a metropolis. Mankind built machinery that would build buildings for them...and the machines never stopped. They just kept on building until humans couldn't find each other amidst the maze-like city. hundreds and hundreds of stories hi...

Driving from GA - Renting trailer, RV, flat bed... Advice?

Myself and two others are driving from Georgia this summer for BM. Anyone have experience or advice for driving from the east to the west coast? We're making the drive for several reasons: My boyfriend has never left Georgia. This is unacceptable and I want him to see more of the US. Also, I have ho...

Its a totally cool experiment and I'd love to hear about it if you ever DO get to try it out.

I've seen similar things done at a larp (yes, I'm THAT kind of nerd) as it started with barter in a colony, became a kingdom and created money...it was really neat from an experimental culture perspective.
