Re: Good sound buffer for generators?

I have a loud generator and I'm not afraid to use it! For that reason, I have built a generator baffle each of the last two years using recycled materials, and I'll be doing it again this year too. My neighbors have always appreciated the effort, and it really works too! The best advice is to deflec...

Re: Still haven't gotten your tickets?

I fixed it for you. The BMorg defenders should back off now...probably not though, they're very resilient. Since SOME are not getting emails with tracking numbers. Hope you get lucky and are at home when delivery is made. I unfortunately wasnt. Had notice left at door to pick up at post office. Went...

Re: Any camps that are still looking for new members?

I am with a camp that is still looking for members. By now, most of the camps have infrastructure in place (or are struggling to do so), and are working on the logistics of getting everything there and set up on time. We really don't have time to go back and forth asking questions over the internet ...

Re: Ok, let's see 'em

How dare you accuse the almighty BMorg of ticketing blunders or inefficiency. Haven't you seen their track record? oh wait...never mind. A package valued at $800 coming through the USPS is already scary enough. If you are going to announce details of the ticket distribution in advance, please be sur...

Jeez can't a guy freak out anonymously on the internet anymore...what's the world coming to. Besides, it's all BM's fault that I have the patience of a gnat!

I got my little pink slip today, no e-mail, but tickets are waiting for me!

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

Had a great day going to the thrift stores with my daughter. She's 12, and has a great eye for BM costume stuff. We scored an amazing iridescent, rainbow colored, long jacket. It was just meant for the desert! :D Mostly, it was just fun spending time playing with all the stuff with my daughter, the ...

Re: One item for BMan 2014 a day

The new camp shower is oficially under construction. We sidewalk scored a nice 3' x 4' shower basin and I got the base built this weekend. It's 16" off the ground with a nice step that will keep your feet clean as you get in and out. Next weekend, my son and I will build the frame for the privacy pa...

Coo Coo Camp - Dedicated Camp Members Wanted!

Hi Eplayans! My name is Jaybob and I’m one of the leaders of what’s now known as the “Coo Coo Camp”. We are a group of about 30 – 40, vets and virgins, based in the SF Bay Area (East Bay). This year we’ll be returning to the 4:30 area with our Cosmic Casbah which will feature a Pyramid structure wit...

Re: Your favorite small-scale art

Maybe it wasn't so small, but I really loved the kinetic Trillium sculpture. The website lists the creator as Gary Gunderson. It was the one with the crank that would raise the glowing, blinking balls to the top where they were released to roll around and through the structure back to the bottom aga...

Thanks for the input. It is a great little car that can hold 8 to 10 people. The passenger compartment is enclosed so the driver can control access over who boards and exits and when.

Security measures for the diver are an excellent idea. Will be added to the list....Thank you!

Re: Newbie - Seeking friends, hugs.

If you can't find campmates beforehand, your best chance to make real friends is to come totally prepared to take care of your own needs for a week in the desert. Show up and find an open space large enough for your little camp. Then walk around and meet your neighbors! Thats how it has worked for y...
